C6 The Storm Came Suddenly

The sky looks so bright with white clouds that are increasingly decorating the sky this today. However, it didn't seem like Aaron's mood. One week has passed, today should be the happy day Aaron and Angela remember the sacred bond of marriage. But back again to the rulers of the earth. Humans are allowed to plan, but God still determines. And the end of the relationship between Aaron and Angela has become the destiny of the almighty.

It's been one week that Aaron continues to be haunted by guilt over Yudha's departure. What's more, he still hasn't found the right way to be responsible. Even though Shena had emphasized that he didn't need to be responsible and even asked him to forget about this problem, it made Aaron feel even more guilty.

Aaron sighed heavily. Lean back against the chair supports. Right now, he was in the office with a pile of reports he hadn't done. In the face of such a big problem, it made him not focus on work. Aaron got up from a sitting position, then stepped closer to the glass wall, staring at the sky view with his hand tucked into his pants pocket.

"The sky won't go away without you looking at it then."

From Aaron's voice, it was confirmed that it was Mike - his secretary and best friend.

Mike kept the blue-color file on Aaron's desk. "Don't keep on daydreaming, there are many reports that you have to check and sign."

Aaron turned around, smiling faintly in response to his best friend's words.

"It's already lunchtime, we better eat first," Mike said after checking the watch that was wrapped around his wrist.

"I have no appetite. You eat alone only," Aaron replied.

Mike rolled her eyes. She walked over to Aaron then took his hand away. "I don't take refusals. So let's go, we let's have lunch together."

Aaron could only surrender when Mike took him out of the room. If you think there is love between them, then you are wrong. Their relationship is purely friends. They have known each other since high school and Mike also has a fiancé.

"The cafe we

subscribe to is closed today, there is a repair, he said. So let's just eat at the cafe near the campus, OK?" Mike said and Aaron could only nod.

Fifteen minutes passed, they finally arrived at their destination. The two of them stepped together to enter the cafe that they visited for the first time. They sat on a bench near the window.

Mike snorted softly as he stared at Aaron, who had not been excited for the past week. "If you continue like this, it's better if you just die."

Aaron glared at Mike when he heard the girl's words.

"Why? Did I say? Are you like a living corpse? I understand how someone heartbroken feels. But please, pay attention to your health too. Do you continue to be like this, your relationship with Angela will come back again? No, if you are not ready to broken heart, don't let the people you love go away." Mike said.

Aaron only told what he told his parents. So Mike also doesn't know the truth, what is causing Aaron and Angela's relationship to end.

"This is not because of my problem with Angela. After all, I also don't care about her anymore. There is no more love in my heart for her," said Aaron.

"Then what makes you like this if it weren't for breaking up with Angela?"

Aaron took a deep breath. He did not tell about the accident that occurred that night.

Mike squinted suspiciously at Aaron. "There's something you're hiding from me, right? You can't lie to me."

"Good day, can I help you?" A waiter came with a menu book that she brought with him. Making Aaron and Mike's chatter stop then turned to the waiter.

Aaron's and the waiter's eyes collided. There was a surprise from the two people. The smile on the servant's lips slowly began to fade.

For several seconds they stared at each other in silence. Without realizing it, Aaron was now in a standing position. Mike who saw that was a wonder.

"What's wrong with you?" Mike asked, breaking their eye contact.

"Sorry I have to go, let me ask another servant to come here," said Shena with her head bowed and then turned her body to leave, but someone held her hand.

"I need to talk to you," said Aaron.

"I have other business, please let go of my hand," replied Shena without making eye contact with Aaron again. She tried to let go of Aaron's strong grip.

"Give me ten minutes to talk to you."

"I said let go of my hand," said Shena who now glared at Aaron with her flat face.

"Aaron let go of his hand. This is a public place." Mike opened his voice, even though he had no clue what had happened between Aaron and the waiter.

When he felt Aaron's grip loosen up, Shena immediately stomped Aaron's feet so tightly that the man's grip was released then he grimaced in pain. Then Shena half ran out of the cafe. Not wanting to lose track of him, Aaron brushed off the pain in his leg and tried to catch up with Shena.

"Where are you going?"

Aaron ignored Mike's screams, he still walked away to make the girl snorted initially.

"Shena, wait!"

Shena looked back, glowering at Aaron who was trying to catch up with him.

"Why do I have to see him again?" Shena complains. Seeing Aaron's face makes Shena's heart tighten again, remembering the accident that made Yudha die. She has been trying to forgive Aaron, but it doesn't seem like it's easy, plus now she's meet again with him.

"Aaaaaa!"

Falling off and becoming public-free viewing material is not a good thing. Shena's face flushed red with embarrassment and anger as the people around her laughed.

"Ssshhh ..." Shena grimaced in pain as she tried to get up, but her sprained leg made it hard to stand up. Until finally, a helping hand surprised Shena, she lifts her head to see who owned the hand.

"I'll help you to stand up," Aaron said with a sincere smile.

Shena who was still annoyed at Aaron brushed the man's hand away and refused any help from him.

"Don't be nice to me," said Shena.

Aaron sighed heavily. Trying to be patient with the girl.

Shena still trying to get up while enduring the pain. Aaron who see Shena, who never woke up, immediately grabbed the girl's shoulders suddenly.

"Do not touch me!" Shena threw a punch at Aaron after he was helped by the boy.

"Sorry." That was all Aaron could say.

Shena looked away. Then the ringing sound of the cellphone was heard. She took out the sophisticated flat object in his trouser pocket. There was an incoming call from the neighbor's house and immediately Shena received the call.

"Hello, what's wrong?"

"Shena, hurry home. Your house is on fire."

Shena gasped in surprise. "What? My house was burned?"

Aaron who heard it was also surprised.

"Yes. Hurry home, pity Amanda who is still panicking."

Shena nodded several times. "Yes, Auntie. I'm going home now. Thanks for the information."

Shena put her cellphone back into her pants pocket, was about to run but her sore leg made her want to fall, lucky Aaron swiftly could hold Shena's body.

"Do not touch me!" wrath Shena.

"I'll take you to go home."

"Do not have to!"

"You have to hurry home, right?"

Shena gave a sharp glare. There was no other choice but to accept Aaron's offer. She was very worried about Amanda's condition.

"How? You want?" Aaron asked again in the hope that the girl would receive help from him.

"Okay, okay!"
