C11 Impossible

When I heard the name I was trying to avoid hearing, it was as if cold water poured down on me.

I already know who the woman is, but I try to convince myself that it isn’t her... or that it isn’t Randall she was with earlier.

How would I battle for the woman he first fell in love with and met?

“A-Ah,” was all I could say. It was as if something had become lodged in my throat and had dried up.

The woman’s eyes were innocent as she looked at me. She smiled at me as if nothing had happened. I wanted to look at myself in the mirror because of the way she looked at me. Although I am stunning, I can’t help but compare her black eyes to my emerald eyes. Her proper chest size on my somewhat shaped chest. Ignoring the fact that Randall always tells me I’m beautiful, I’m curious what he’s saying to the Barbie doll in front of me right now.

Mommy Amelia continued, “And Charlotte, this is Winter,” because we were both quiet.

The woman extended her hand for a handshake. I just stood there staring at it until she took it and shook it. I was at a loss for words because I can’t bring myself to smile at my husband’s ‘mistress.’

My phone rang loudly, and the three of us fell silent. I saw Ava’s name. I exhaled a sigh of relief as she rescued me from this situation.

“Please excuse me. I’m glad to meet you; I still have something to do. I have to go now,” I said as I bowed and turned to leave. My phone continued to ring, so I answered it.

“Where are you now?” Irritated, Ava yelled.

“I’ll be right there! Something has gone wrong!” We both yelled as if we’d been doing it for years.

When we realized what was going on, we both burst out laughing on both lines.

“Faster, you idiot! If you don’t hurry, I’ll knock you down after we meet! If the men here realize how beautiful I am, they will attack me!” She complained, but it was clearly a joke.

As I walked, I smiled because it felt good to laugh without thinking about anyone or having any problems.

The hot rays of the sun hit me as soon as I stepped out of the building. They scheduled the event at noon, but I hadn’t been inside for long, so the time seemed to stand still.

I was going to call the driver to take me to where Ava and I would meet, but then I remembered Randall might know where I am. I was about to walk to call a taxi when a red 2018 Jeep Renegade stopped in front of me. I assumed he didn’t stop there on purpose, but it still didn’t leave in front of me after a minute.

I stepped back to continue walking when the car window rolled down. What I saw was Turstin’s sly smile.

“I wondered who had stopped in front of me in the 2018 Jeep Renegade just to brag. Because the window is tinted, I can’t tell if the driver is worth it,” I joked to him.

“I saw something beautiful, so I couldn’t help but stop,” he retorted to my joke.

When he asked, “Where are you going?” I just laughed softly.

I didn’t respond to his question. Instead, I posed the question, “How about you?” Shouldn’t you be celebrating with your cousin and family inside? ”

“I’m not sure I want to go. Daddy just forced me,” he explained.

I raised an eyebrow to show that I didn’t believe, but then I burst out laughing.

“That’s that truth!” he insisted. “I have answered your question. Please respond to my question as well. ”

“I’m going to see my friend.” That’s all I said to him. I didn’t want to give him any more information, and maybe he’ll tell his aunt Amelia about it.

“Why? Isn’t it true that you’re the most important person in the event because you’re the wife?” He was puzzled.

“Avoid asking too many questions! The best thing you can do is simply drive me to where I was going!” I stated cheerfully.

“Your husband might beat me if he sees me with you!” he exclaimed, perplexed.

“Don’t be concerned! Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it!” He had already unlocked the door, so I rode in quickly.

I went back through the messages and checked the address Ava had given me. When I showed it to Turstin, he quickly turned left the car.

We saw many children aged 16 to 18 smoking when we got out of the car. Turstin was coughing and speaking to me in hushed tones.

“Are you certain it’s here?”

It also irritated me when a tall man on a skateboard passed by and blew smoke in my face. Turstin quickly grabbed the man’s clothes and tried to punch him when someone hit the man who blew smoke at me on the head.

“What did I say to you, huh? Didn’t I warn you? I said, just monitor the person I’m waiting for because I’m still doing something.” While chewing bubblegum, Ava.

She appears to be different! I’m referring to the hair. Her hair was black and straight when we met at the event, and it was also long. It is now scarlet with a curly lob.

If she was beautiful with her long black hair with blue eyes, now she looks like a mermaid who acts like a human because of her new hairstyle and a pair of navy eyes. She looks so cool!

“Sorry boss!” said the man while Turstin was still holding his clothes.

“Are you the boss of them?” Turstin said coldly to Ava.

“So?” Ava nodded and seemed unconcerned about Turstin.

“If you can form a garbage group, you should also know how to control them.” Turstin let go of the man’s clothes. The man hurried away.

“Forgive me, your majesty.” Wearing a yellow crop top, ripped jeans, and white rubber shoes, Ava pretended to have a dress and bent one leg as if paying homage to the majesty.

Turstin’s jaw tightened as he tried to recover from Ava’s teasing.

“Why are you hanging out with a dodo? Who is he? Your disciple?” Ava teased even further.

“That’s enough, you two!” Turstin’s pickiness made me laugh.

“Turstin, you may return. Please do not tell anyone where I am.” I bring it up again. Fortunately, I changed into a red blazer and didn’t stand out too much.

“No. I will not leave you in this...” he pauses and runs his eyes to the place before continuing, “kind of place.”

“Don’t worry, Your Majesty, I won’t let Winter get hurt, so leave. Shoo!” Ava raised her hand as if she were pimping him out.

He looked at me, but all I did was nod. Ava wrapped her arm around me to reassure him he had nothing to be concerned about. He sighed and pinched my nose when he couldn’t do anything else.

“OK, fine. I’m leaving now. When something bad happens,” he said to Ava," and at least I know where I’m going." He pulled out his cellphone and pointed it at us. We heard the camera shutter.

“As evidence.” He said to Ava and turned around to get in his car.

“What did you eat, and how come you agreed to meet with me?” Ava’s first question.

“I’d like to know something. Only you can help.” I was serious when I said that.

“No! I’m not going to!” She wrapped her hand around her body as if she were covering her chest.

“Huh? What exactly are you doing?” I’m puzzled.

“Do you not want to know what your true gender is?” She returned my question with a perplexed expression as well.

“What the hell are you talking about?!?” I looked around to see if anyone had heard what she had said.

“I’m not serious! What exactly is that?!” She scratched her chin, as if disgusted.

“Mommy Amelia mentioned arranged marriages earlier. I’m not sure if that’s true. I believe she said that because she is upset with me.”

“Whose marriage?” Ava asked.

“Me.”

“What? How?”

“That’s what I want to know. Did you really not meet Randall?” I hopefully asked.

“No. We’re always together, but you never once mentioned him to me.” What Ava says seems to be true.

The intuition, apprehension, and suspicion inside me intensified. I didn’t want to believe what mommy Amelia was saying because I knew in what Randall showed there was nothing fake in them. So that’s impossible.

Impossible.

Impossible.

I’m hoping...
