C14 Dance

Irritated, she pulled her phone from the pocket of her tattered jeans and connected it to mine. When it connects, I refreshed the application, and the picture appeared gradually.

Because of the photo given to me, I tightened my grasp on the phone. Randall is laughing while whispering to Charlotte in that photo. Someone shot earlier the photograph in the day at the event. My assumptions are right. He won’t notice I’m not in the hall since he’s preoccupied with other things. He most likely provided the sender with my phone number.

Ava looked at my screen and grimace at what she saw. I gathered my confidence and smiled at her. “How can we show Randall what you said? That I will prove to him I can do what he is doing?” I asked Ava with a serious face.

Her side lip lifted, and she tugged me toward the bar.

A bouncer stood in front of the bar and barred our path. “Ava! You haven’t been here for very long, have you?” He smiled at Ava.

Oh. So Ava is always active here?

“Ray, you are right! I’m a little busy. Can I come in even if I’m dressed like this? Because we were unprepared.” She replied to the bouncer.

“Without a doubt. The only question is, how old is your pal? And I only just saw her now?”

“She simply accompanied me. Please let us in, Ray! My friend is older than you!” Ava raised an eyebrow and booted the bouncer.

The blue light, the scent of alcohol, the loud music, and the blended smoke welcomed us inside. I whispered to Ava, but she didn’t hear, so I placed my ear to her ear and yelled.

“It is very noisy. Can I just come up with another strategy to retaliate against Randall?” Because of the volume of the music, I was still shouting in her ear.

“It will be more convenient for us if we do it here. Just sit and wait. I’ll arrange for your hubby to be driven here.” She also yelled into my ear.

We took a seat at the bar counter. Ava was simply standing there ordering wine. “A Rum light for my friend. We cannot waste her.”

“Wait a minute!” I came to a halt in front of the bartender. “Is there nothing more strong there?” I questioned.

“We have Rum Dark, but I can provide you with tequila. Silver tequila is superior to gold tequila for margaritas.” Even though I couldn’t comprehend what he was saying, he clarified everything to me.

“It is entirely up to you. Just give me some excellent alcohol.” I was glancing around, scared that someone might recognize me.

“Are you certain that no one can see me?” I asked Ava and softened my tone. There was no need to yell because the noise at the bar counter was no longer excessively loud.

Ava could not respond to my question since they had already placed the tequila in front of me. We discuss why she doesn’t help manage their business. She only said she didn’t want the term ‘Arrange Marriage.’

Two males approached us while we were conversing. Both tall and mestizo. They were younger than me, maybe in their early twenties. Randall sprang to mind.

I don’t know Randall’s age. I believe he is between the ages of 28 and 30. It’s awful to think that I don’t know anything about him, not even the most little facts. What are his favorites?

I was drinking my second tequila when Ava abruptly pushed me from my seat and to the man with the undercut hair.

“There! She is all yours. She’s not married!” Ava gave me a wink. Because the man had already pulled me over, I couldn’t complain. I can’t stop him because I’m dizzy.

“Let go of me, please. What Ava says is not true.” But he couldn’t hear me because of the loud music.

When I turned to walk away, he abruptly grabbed my waist and forced me to dance. I could feel the thing in the center of his legs. I pushed him, but I was weak because of the terrible dizziness. He grins at his trouser, the thing in the center bulge even more. I can feel his breath on my neck already.

Where is Ava? I shift his face away from my neck, but he doesn’t budge. I’m at a loss for words.

I was about to call the guy next to us for help when a man appeared in front of me.

Before I could even look up to see who it was, I heard a scream from those dancing. And...

The man who is pressuring me is laying on the floor.

Randall stood next to him, and his eyes blazed with fury.
