C5 Someone Wanted Her to Die!
"Miss Jian, it's your turn."
The assistant came in to pass on the message. Jian Wei nodded and got up. "Secretary Lee, you don't have to run away with me. Just rest here for a while."
Secretary Lee wished for nothing more than this. "Then I will be taking advantage of you to be lazy."
Jian Wei smiled and walked out with a calm face. She followed the assistant all the way inside.
This was already the filming site. The basic scene was being built and there were no actors, so it was still a desolate place.
"Miss Jian, Director Liu's office is in the filming site. It might be a little far away."
Jian Wei nodded. "It's okay."
She did not doubt that this situation was very normal. Many directors stayed in the film set for a long time during filming.
However, the further they went, the colder the temperature became. Jian Wei could not help but frown. "Why is it so cold here?"
The assistant explained, "Oh, because there are many scenes of ice and snow in the movie, all the production crew specially built an ice cellar here."
Jian Wei heaved a sigh of relief. There were indeed many scenes of ice and snow in the scene of Flower on a Full Moon. She originally thought that the crew would use props to replace it, but she did not expect it to be true. It made her feel a lot more at ease.
"Miss Jian, this is it. You can just walk a little deeper inside."
The assistant suddenly stopped in her tracks. Jian Wei did not doubt it and nodded her head before walking in on her own accord.
However, just as she walked through a door, the door behind her was slammed shut with a bang. The surroundings were suddenly pitch black.
Jian Wei was shocked and immediately went to check the situation behind her. However, the door was already locked. Cold air kept coming from behind her. In this situation, it was obvious that someone wanted to harm her. Jian Wei hit her forehead in annoyance and scolded herself for being brainless. She actually fell into the trap so easily.
Most importantly, she felt that the environment around her was surprisingly cold, and there was actually a cold breeze running wildly under her feet.
This was the ice cellar, and the little assistant did not speak nonsense about it just now.
'Damn it! '
Jian Ya'er was indeed ruthless. She wanted to take her life the moment she came up.
Fortunately, she took out her phone when she came out and could still light up the surroundings. She did not have to wait for death in the dark.
She turned on the dim flashlight. Everything around her could still be vaguely seen. It was indeed a world of ice. There was cold air visible to the naked eye everywhere.
Jian Wei hugged herself tightly and hurriedly used her phone to call for help. In the end, she found that there was no signal at all.
A slight fear escaped from the depths of her heart and her lips began to tremble. If no one came to save her, perhaps she would really die.
A small sound came from the darkness and it made Jian Wei's entire body tremble. She immediately tensed up and looked at her surroundings with widened eyes.
"Mommy..."
It was like a voice came from the depths of her heart which made Jian Wei's heart start to tremble. She was sure that there must be someone else inside, and it might be a child.
Using the light to illuminate the surroundings, she indeed found a pair of shoes in a pile of ice. She immediately dug open the ice.
It was like a princess lying in a crystal coffin, a child sleeping in a pile of ice giving birth to a jade carving. It was delicate like a little prince in a fairy tale, but his tightly shut eyes and slowly trembling eyelashes revealed his uneasiness. It made one's heart ache.
"Mommy, is that you? You're back..."
Jian Wei's heart was immediately warmed and even the surrounding cold air seemed to disappear. She carefully carried the child out from the ice pile and took off her coat to wrap him.
The child slowly opened his eyes and said with difficulty, "Who are you... and also a bad woman?"
Jian Wei raised her eyebrows. This child was really special. The words that he said were completely inconsistent with his age.
"Little darling, you should tell me now why you were left here?"
The child's pretty little face immediately wrinkled and was somewhat distant. "You are not allowed to call me little darling. I am called Qii Xuan!"
"Mr. Qii Xuan, I have to tell you. In another hour, we might be frozen into ice."
She could tell that the child was a little adult. When talking to him, he had to stand at a high angle.
Qii Xuan's face had already turned pale from the cold. His lips had also started to crack. "Of course I know, but I can't go up..."
His small eyes slowly moved upwards. Jian Wei followed his line of sight and looked up. Only then did she realize that there was a hole on it. The size was just enough for a person.
"I'll send you up... How about it?"
Imp's eyes suddenly flashed and he struggled to get up in her arms. His delicate eyebrows were covered with ice and he looked like a little old man, "You are not afraid that I will not care about you after I go up..."
Jian Wei burst into laughter. This child was indeed very clever and his mind was much more mature than normal children.
"Then consider it my bad luck to meet a heartless fellow."
Qii Xuan frowned. The outline of his body that had not grown out vaguely had a somewhat domineering shadow. "Don't worry. I will definitely not leave you behind. When I find my daddy, I will definitely let him come and save you."
