C19 Chapter 19

We came and she was distressed to the core, “Papa,” She mumbled.

I glanced at her, not sure how to react or how to comfort her. I couldn’t either.

“You stay with him, I will talk to the doctor,” I spoke vaguely, noticing how dismay was plastered on her features.

“Let me come with you,” She whined and I gestured to her to stop.

“You stay here, with him. You should,” I whispered in a low tone
