"Lying right to my face? Where do you get off trying to weasel your way in here? Get out now, or don't blame me for what happens next!"

"This is Director Choo's home. Whether I stay or leave is up to him."

But in the next moment, the expected sound of a slap never came. Ruanruan let out a cold laugh, gripping Zhou Xirou's wrist tightly. Zhou Xirou's face was filled with shock as her wrist throbbed in pain from Ruanruan's grasp.

"What do you think you're doing?! I'm the future daughter-in-law of the Choo family, and my dad manages a major bank! If you dare touch me, you'll regret it for the rest of your life!" Xirou was a bit panicked, struggling to break free but unable to.

"Open your eyes and take a good look. Standing right in front of you is me, the woman personally chosen by Liting as his fiancée!"

"You're lying! There's no way Liting would marry someone like you!" Xirou scoffed, dismissing Ruanruan's words with a sneer.

"What if he just might?" Ruanruan raised an eyebrow.

As tensions rose between the two, a sweet voice called from the doorway, "Mommy? You're here?"

Turning around, Ruanruan saw Tiantian's sweet little face, and the little one happily rushed into her arms.
