C8 Who Was the Father of the Child(1)
Three days later, Lin Rann arrived at the Lu family on time.
It was a magnificent villa that looked like a palace. It was a beautiful scene that looked like a paradise in the mortal world. It was a well-trained servant. The expressionless bodyguard saw everything in front of her, and Lin Rann seemed to have entered another world.
When she arrived in the living room, Lu Wanyan was carrying the crying children all over the living room and coaxing them. When she saw Lin Rann, it was as if she had seen her savior.
"Lin Rann, you're here. Quick, let me see my child. He cried so hard that I can't coax him no matter how hard I coax him."
After Lu Wanyan carried Little Treasure, Lin Rann looked at the child who was crying until his face turned red and knew that he was hungry. She did not care that Lu Wanyan was here and started to feed him.
Sure enough, the crying stopped immediately.
Lin Rann was very good at coaxing the child. Very quickly, the child fell asleep and placed the child in the cradle. Lu Wanyan pulled Lin Rann and chatted.
"My Qian'er drank milk for the first time ever since she was born. Lin Rann, thank you very much."
Lin Rann said, "Miss Lu is too polite. This is what I should do."
"That's not necessarily true. Some novice mothers are not good at coaxing children. They are not as obedient as your children. Just now Qian'er was crying like that and he was not affected. He quietly lies down. It makes people love him."
This compliment was like a needle piercing into Lin Rann's heart.
It was not that Little Treasure was not affected. It was just that his hearing was not good. That was why he was indifferent to the crying of his children.
If it was possible, Lin Rann hoped that Little Treasure could cry like a normal child.
"By the way, Lin Rann, did you take care of the child by yourself? Where is the father of the child?"
"I don't know."
From the moment she knew about Little Treasure's existence, Lin Rann did not know who Little Treasure's biological father was. She only knew that he had gone crazy that night. After that, it was a series of setbacks.
"Did he run away?" Lu Wanyan asked with concern, "Did he run away because you guys had a quarrel, or did he not intend to take responsibility for his father at all?"
Lin Rann,... ""
She had no way to answer this question because she did not know who the man from two years ago was.
"Miss, the young master is back."
Just when Lin Rann did not know how to answer, the maid quickly walked in from outside the door.
She had just finished reporting when Lu Hansheng's cold figure appeared at the door of the living room. His majestic voice was even more slender under the sunlight, but the coldness on his face did not diminish in the slightest.
Lin Rann stood up from the sofa and smiled politely at Lu Hansheng, "Master Young Master Lu."
Her pair of green eyes flashed with a sincere and pure light. The smile on her face did not have any impurity. It was just a simple greeting with a polite smile.
Lu Hansheng drank like a sweet spring.
The sun had never been warm, but now, it had a different feeling.
"Lin Rann, sit down first. I will sleep with Qian'er for a while. He finally fell asleep. I can finally sleep peacefully."
Lu Wanyan yawned as she carried the child up to the second floor.
Lu Hansheng sat there with the iPad in his hand. Lin Rann glanced out of the corner of her eye and saw that there were many numbers on it. It really made her dizzy.
However, his gaze was calm and relaxed.
"Waah!"
A loud cry was especially loud and clear. Lin Rann's first reaction was to carry Little Treasure and coax him. She must not disturb Lu Hansheng's work.
But it was very strange. The usually obedient Little Treasure. No matter how she coaxed him today, she could not.
Seeing Little Treasure cry more and more fiercely, Lin Rann had the thought of bringing Little Treasure away first. If Little Bao's crying angered this young master, she could not bear it.
"Miss Lin, please wait."
A cold voice suddenly sounded. Lin Rann turned around and looked at Lu Hansheng in confusion. "What's wrong?"
