C21 They Were Gods!
In the entire game, there was only one Muh Yuvming, that legendary God!
Wen Ke'er idolized him, her dream guy!
Seeing Wen Ke'er's astonished expression, Shi Qian wasn't the least bit surprised.
Her gaming alias did carry quite the reputation.
Wen Ke'er paused, then murmured, "The God! Muh Yuvming, the God!" She hesitated before adding, "But that's not right. Muh Yuvming is supposed to be a guy, my dream guy! I've heard him speak."
Shi Qian chuckled. "That was a voice changer."
"So, Muh Yuvming is actually a girl? It's you?"
"Correct, it's me. Are you disappointed?"
Wen Ke'er quickly replied, "Not at all, whether you're a dream guy or a goddess, I like you just the same."
Shi Qian smiled again.
They added each other as friends, and Shi Qian checked Wen Ke'er's account information.
"You've reached level 7 already; that's impressive."
Wen Ke'er grinned, "I've still got a long way to go compared to you."
Shi Qian put away her phone, looked at her, and said, "I'll help you level up from now on."
"Really!" Wen Ke'er was thrilled.
"Absolutely."
"That's awesome."
The two continued their cheerful conversation as they walked toward the computer lab.
However, Wen Yiran witnessed this scene.
Wen Ke'er was her cousin.
Watching Wen Ke'er, Wen Yiran's eyes filled with scorn as she sneered, "Birds of a feather flock together. A nobody like her is only fit to befriend country bumpkins."
At the Shi family's villa.
Shi Muxue entered the living room and lazily reclined on the sofa, instructing the housekeeper, "Aunt Zhou, could you get me a glass of water?"
"Right away, Miss."
Just then, Soong Yuzhi descended the stairs and saw Shi Muxue. "Muxue! What brings you home so early today?"
Before Shi Muxue could respond, Aunt Zhou arrived with a glass of water and set it on the coffee table before her. "Miss, here's your water."
Shi Muxue took a sip of water and then turned to Soong Yuzhi, "Mom, Shi Qian is at Imperial University."
"What?" Soong Yuzhi looked at Shi Muxue in astonishment. "You're saying Shi Qian is at Imperial University? How can that be?"
I was told by the driver that the little con artist had been killed by a car. How could she possibly show up at Imperial University?
"How could it not be possible?" Shi Muxue retorted with a cold huff. "That wretch didn't stay put in the countryside; she actually had the nerve to show up at Imperial University. Just seeing her face irritates me."
Soong Yuzhi regained her composure and asked, "Why are you only mentioning this now?"
Shi Muxue's lips tightened.
Initially, she hadn't taken Shi Qian seriously, thinking that after being expelled from the Shi family and left with nothing, there was nothing to worry about.
But after witnessing Shi Qian's repeated interactions with Sheng Xu, she reached her breaking point.
"I found out this morning when Father saw her," she revealed. "But Father made it clear that Shi Qian is no longer part of the Shi family, and he also forbade me from discussing my relationship with her to anyone."
Soong Yuzhi nodded in agreement. "That's reassuring. As long as your father doesn't allow her to return, she won't have a chance to set foot in the Shi family home again."
Shi Muxue took another sip of water.
Soong Yuzhi, noticing her daughter's troubled expression, probed further, "But if your father has already made his stance clear, why do you still seem upset?"
Shi Muxue's gaze darkened as she slowly began, "The Prince of the Sheng family is at our school, and he appears to have taken a liking to Shi Qian. Her attitude towards him seems indifferent, but I suspect she's playing hard to get. Men always want what they can't have more desperately."
Turning to her mother, she continued, "Mom, we're talking about the Sheng family—one of the four major families. What if Shi Qian..."
Soong Yuzhi chuckled at this, prompting Shi Muxue to ask with a furrowed brow, "Why are you laughing?"
