Inside the computer science classroom.

Shi Qian propped her chin with one hand while casually flipping through a book on the desk with the other, exuding a sense of effortless grace.

Her wavy hair cascaded over her shoulders, framing her stunning face that was impossible to ignore.

Nearby, three girls whispered among themselves.

"Hey, have you heard? Prince Shaang Sizhan has officially taken over as the head of his family."

The girl nodded emphatically: "It's exactly that terrifying!"

She paused, a blush creeping onto her face, then added, "But... as frightening as Master Zhan can be, he's undeniably handsome!

I caught a glimpse of him once from a distance when I was visiting my uncle at the JE Corporation building. Just one look was enough to captivate the soul!"

Another girl chimed in, "Is this what they call a soul-stirring presence?"

Shi Qian listened to the trio's exchange, a slight smile playing on her lips.

Master Zhan's looks could indeed turn heads and captivate hearts.

Four years ago, when she had just woken up, she was unaware of Shaang Sizhan's identity. Disillusioned with Shi Yaorong and wanting nothing more to do with him, she had boldly declared that Shaang Sizhan should take responsibility for her.

Her phone buzzed with a new message.

Shi Qian immediately picked up the phone and opened the message.

[When does your class end? I'll come to pick you up.]

It was from Shaang Sizhan. Speak of the devil, and he shall appear!

Shi Qian quickly replied.

[Class ends at 4 p.m.]

Shaang Sizhan: [Okay.]

After class, Shi Qian was the first to leave the classroom.

Out in the square, she heard an exclamation, "Hey! Isn't that the new freshman school belle? She's stunning."

Shi Muxue, walking by, overheard a boy's admiring comment and followed his gaze.

Seeing the familiar figure, a flicker of annoyance crossed Shi Muxue's eyes.

She hastened her steps and called out, "Shi Qian."

At the sound, Shi Qian slowly turned to see who was behind her.

It was Shi Muxue. That explained the grating voice.

Shi Muxue confronted her, "So it is you!"

Just two days into the new school year, she had heard the buzz about an incredibly beautiful girl in the computer science department named Shi Qian.

Initially, she thought it was a coincidence of names until she confirmed it was indeed her after seeing Shi Qian's photo on the forum the previous night.

Shi Qianni faced her, her tone unapologetically brusque, "What do you want?"
