My cheeks heated up when I saw Valerian's hand on my waist.

I cleared my throat as I quickly stand up straight and moved away from him like as if I was electrified.

I went back to the chair and sat down.

"What was that?" I heard Valerian ask.

I looked up at him and saw that his eyes are focused on the front of his laptop.

"What was what?" I asked back, playing dumb
