C4 Hello There

Natasha's POV

The rays of sun cursing through the windows and hitting my face woke me up.

I rubbed my eyes as I opened them.

It's already morning and the sun already set high. I also turned back into my normal form. I turned back into being a human again after turning into a werewolf last night because Valerian Fenrir provoked me.

I sighed as I got up from my bed. The ring that mom gave me is on my bedside table so I quickly grabbed it and put it back on. I can't lose it because it's one of the important things that I have right now. We turn into a werewolf every full moon and we have no control over it unless it's just an ordinary night so I really need this ring because I can't turn into a werewolf especially because I'm in the city. I'm just lucky no one saw me last night.

My gaze fell on the door when I remembered something.

I didn't kill Valerian Fenrir. . .

My father will be so disappointed with me.

Sh*t. No. . .

But, why did my father hide the truth from me? Why didn't he inform me that Valerian Fenrir is a vampire?

A f*cking vampire!

I'm not only surprised by the fact that he is a vampire. I'm surprised by how strong he is. His strength is something. I spent my whole life learning how to fight and I didn't even get the chance to lay a hand on Valerian Fenrir. I thought I'm strong enough and ready but I was wrong. I can't even move when he was holding me. If I didn't manage to escape last night, I'll be the one ending up dead and not him. I can easily take him out if he's just a normal person-- a human, like I thought but he's not.

"What should I do now?" I whispered to myself. "I can't go home."

"Hello, there."

I jerked up on my spot when I suddenly heard someone speak in the corner of my room.

My heart pounded inside my chest upon seeing Valerian Fenrir comfortably sitting in the corner with his legs crossed.

I automatically looked for my dagger but I remembered that he have it.

F*ck.

Is this the time when I will die? I know Valerian can just easily snap my neck if he wants to considering how strong he is compared to me. If I can fight him, it's still doesn't guarantee my life. I don't want to die!

I know nothing much about vampires since I haven't met one in my whole life until last night and we don't talk about their kind in our pack but I'm sure Valerian Fenrir isn't no ordinary vampire. I saw how he is last night.

He is something.

"What are you doing here?" I asked as my fingertips touched the bite mark he left on my neck.

I flinched.

It hurts.

It hurts so much. F*ck.

Valerian didn't answer my question.

I gathered all the courage I have in me as and looked at his eyes.

Our gaze met.

I tilted my head as I try to read his mind but I got nothing. I can't get through his mind. No matter what I do, I just can't.

"It's frustrating, I know," he stated. "I can't do it with you too."

Valerian continued looking at me and I have to avoid his gaze because his eyes are piercing and I can't handle it.

"So tell me why. Why can't I get inside your mind, Natasha?" he added.

I swallowed hard. "I don't know."

"Stop!" I exclaimed when all of the sudden he was already in front of me holding my neck.

"L-let me go," I stuttered.

"Why do you want to kill me?" he questioned.

I gulped once again as my hand traveled to my fingers gripping my ring tightly. I can fight him better if I turn into a werewolf. But since I'm still wearing my ring, it will prevent me from turning into one. The power of the ring does not only helps me to not turn into my form during the full moon. As long as I'm wearing the ring, I can't be a werewolf even if I want to anytime.

"Why do you want to kill me?!" His voice thundered in my whole room making my knees wobble.

"I- I don't know," I answered truthfully because I really have no idea why I need to kill him. Aside from it being an order from my father, I have no other reason.

I spent years carrying the baggage of killing someone whom I thought was a human. A horrible human. But, I don't have any personal reason. It's just an order from my father and I couldn't go against him no matter what I do.

"N-no," I cried out when I felt his hot breath in my neck.

I gathered all my strength and tried to push him away but he didn't budge even just a little.

I repeatedly cursed inside my mind when I realized that I can't turn into a werewolf. It's broad daylight and there are so many people outside. I can't be seen. If Valerian failed to kill me- I'll get killed by the city people if they see me in my form.

F*ck.

"N-no please!" I pleaded when I felt his sharp fangs graze in my neck again.

"Your smell. Hmm, the smell of your blood." I heard him whisper.

Just when I thought he'd bite me again, he didn't. Valerian Fenrir just sniffed my neck.

"I don't understand," he stated.

"A-are you going to kill me?" I asked trying so hard to not break my voice but failed.

"Yes. You're already a corpse if only you didn't manage to escape from me last night," he answered.

Sh*t.

"Are you going to kill me now?" I questioned once again. I didn't even know why I'm asking but if this will be my last day, I want to know.

"I will," he replied making my heart clench.

"After I have my answers," Valerian added and let me go. In just a blink, he's already sitting back in the corner again.

I heaved a deep sigh of relief.

He finally let go of me and didn't do anything to me.

"Tell me, wolf girl." He rested his chin in his hand as he cross his legs again. "Where did you come from? It's been a while since my last encounter with a werewolf."

I fell silent because of what he said.

I can't tell him anything about me or the pack because they'll be in danger.

Valerian Fenrir is dangerous. Everything that happened last night and what's happening right now should be enough for me to know that.

I drew a breath as I think of a story to tell him.

"I got cast out of my pack for a sin I committed. I'm alone, wandering." I looked at him with a serious expression on.

He can't read my mind. He said it and I saw how he clenched his jaw and his forehead is creased every time he tries to read my mind but fail.

If I tell him this, he wouldn't know whether I'm lying or not.

"I wonder what that sin is." He looked at me with his piercing eyes and I have to endure his stares.

I can't avoid his gaze otherwise he'd be suspicious as to why I couldn't look at him while I'm telling him my story.

"And the reason why you wanted to kill me?" he questioned once again.

"As I've said, I've known you for a while now but you never noticed me. I don't like the way you treat women. I despise you because of it and you don't deserve to live," I answered.

I don't know his treatment of women but the scene I saw last night is enough to tell me what he is towards them. He's nothing but a disgusting bastard.

Valerian chuckled. His voice is dangling with amusement. "You have said you've been 'admiring me from afar'. Why is it that you changed your words, Natasha?"

I didn't answer.

None of what I've said is true.

I will never admire Valerian Fenrir.

I'm maybe upset by my father for not telling me that Valerian is a vampire but I still remember everything that he said to me about Valerian F*cking Fenrir. He's brutal and heartless and I despise people like him.

"W-what are you doing?" I asked stuttering when all of the sudden he's in front of me again holding my neck.

F*ck.

My neck hurts from his bite and it hurts more because of the times he choked me. I'm sure as hell his handprints and bruises are all over my neck.

"What did you put in your blood?" he asked.

His voice turned out cold and serious and it makes me nervous.

"What?" I asked creasing my forehead.

Gosh. I wish this devil will let go of me because it's hard to speak when he's literally holding my throat and slightly restricting my airflow.

I coughed and coughed and coughed hoping for him to let go of me.

Valerian's gaze is focused on me and just watching me as I cough repeatedly but he didn't disappoint me because he finally let go of my throat.

I took a deep breath as I stopped coughing. "I don't know what you're talking about," I told him.

Valerian raised his palm and leveled it in my mouth.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I creased my forehead at him.

"Bite me," he ordered.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What?"

"I shouldn't tell you twice."

I continued furrowing my eyebrows at him. I'm so confused right now.

Why the hell would he want me to bite him? And I'm not like him. I don't feed on people's blood. We, werewolves have a normal diet like humans. We maybe eat raw meat but that's just it. We don't drink blood.

"Either you bite me or I'll do it and end your life," he threatened.

Sh*t.

Left with no choice, I held his hand and bit him.

"Deeper, Natasha," he commanded. "Taste my blood."

And, I did.

I tasted his blood while we stares into each other's eyes.
