"Akira," she called again. I cursed under my breath and looked up at Akira. He smiled apologetically and I rolled my eyes.

"Alice," he called as he withdrew from the embrace. He kept his arm around my waist as we approached her. She was on crutches and her arm and head were bandaged. Did she fight a tiger or something?

"Alice, you shouldn't be out here
