C4 Superman

I laughed my heart out and looked his way but he didn’t even have a trace of smile on his face. I smiled nervously and looked at him and he only looked back with his face as straight as the wall.

I asked him curiously,

“You are not serious are you?”

“Of course I am, do I look like I was joking?” he asked sneering.

“No you don’t, what’s your name kid?” I asked because I was still curious about him.

“I am Leonardo Martinez, do you recognize the name now? What is yours?”. He said after finally conceding.

I found him to be an interesting boy, and he didn’t look like someone from a poor family but from a powerful one. The name Martinez wasn’t that new in my ears but I wasn’t familiar with them either.

“I don’t recognize you, I am a new person in town. You can call me Ade. ”

He nodded, and I used my claws to break the padlock, he looked on amazed.

‘Well now I have gotten another expression from him, what a mysterious boy. ’ I thought.

Then I remembered I had met another mysterious person in the woods. I smirked and opened the door, he got out and held my hands and asked excitedly,

“Are these your nails? What long nails you have, I would like to have some when I grow up. ”

Then I knew he didn’t believe me when I said, I wasn’t human but who cared? If he actually grow such nails, he didn’t need to be a werewolf to be called a beast.

I took him in my hands and walked to the window, I then saw, two men in black smoking cigarette. They heard me open the window and looked up at us, I had no choice but to jump down with him and so, I asked him to climb on my back. He did that and I jumped out of the window and landed on the other building in front of the building we were in.

I jumped down and knocked one of the guys down. The other got ready to attack me but in a second, he was also laying on the floor holding his stomach because of my blow. Just then, I heard clapping behind me and he came down my back and said to me,

“Am I ready seeing a superman in this life? The superwoman is at home and the superman is here. It’s quite a day isn’t it? I can’t tell if my mother will like you though but I will try and link you both up.”

I took him on my back and jumped out of the window and landed on a building beside it, I jumped once again and landed on the ground. Two men stood there looking at us, they looked at where we had jumped from surprised, but they didn't back down and attempted to fight me. I didn't need my wolf to fight off those two bastards, I jumped and the wall and with one heavy blow, both of them landed on the floor knocked out. Leo looked at me like he had seen a ghost, then he suddenly held his shorts and swiftly turned.

He raised his hands showing his thumbs and said, “Wow I've met a live superhero man, you see I've always known you guys existed. When I get home I will...”

I kept my hand on his mouth and said, “This should not be known to anyone but myself and you understood?”

He shook his head and said, “I'm no secretive person you've got the wrong person to share a secret with trust me. ”

I looked at him closely and asked, “What is your age, Leo?”

“You are calling me Leo just like my mother so I will make you my friend. But what's with the self-introduction? are you a secret detective?” he asked looking closely at me.

He said and started checking my body, then he kept his hands in my pocket and removed my wallet. He was going to open it but I stopped him. And said, “Leo, you can't just check anyone's pocket and open their wallet like that okay?” I said advising him.

He went ahead of me and I followed him then he said, “And you think I don't know that? You are so much like my mom trying to teach me the right thing when I know everything in this world. ”

“Just that she's crazier than you. I am very hungry right now I haven't eaten in two nights. ” he said rubbing his stomach “Oh I testify to that, listen to the way your stomach is rumbling, kuooorrrrrr. God that was so loud I could hear it from miles, even I am very hungry,” he continued saying while smiling.

“You this boy, I think you weren't that afraid, I shouldn't have come for you. ” I said trying to sound serious.

“No I wasn't afraid I am just too hungry for my poor heart,” he said.

I laughed and looked at the lovely boy in bewilderment. I knew the small boy wasn't just a human and the way he carried himself told me he had come from a well to do family. He spoke and got me out of my thoughts, “I think you will like that restaurant.”

He pointed to a restaurant I eat from all the time since I came to that town. It looked ordinary from the outside but they served fresh meat if you wanted one and all kinds of beings visit the place. I looked at the boy astonished and asked, “How did you know?”

He shook his head and said, “You won't believe me even if I told you. People tell me I am a psychopath whenever I tell them what I see. ” Then he added in a deep and husky voice, “And don't be surprised if I told you I really know who you are. I do.”

Then suddenly he said in the boy's tone and asked, “So you coming or not?” I smiled at him and knew I had met an extraordinary person, and I wondered why he waited to be released when he could escape himself.

So I asked, “Why were you in there when you could have escaped yourself?”

He looked at me as if asking are you foolish and showed me his hands and asked, “What are you talking about look at my little self how will I overcome those gangs and escape?”
