Chapter nine- Dangerous

Nadia’s POV.

I drove my car away after shooting him on his arm, I didn’t know why I had this ill feelings about that particular being, apart from the fact I was afraid of such a being. I looked at my son to cross check him and he only shook his body when I touched him. I looked on surprised at his strange behavior, then I stopped the car to look at his expression and to ask the reason for his action. He turned to me as soon as I stopped the car and gave me a death glare and asked,

“Why did you have to do that to Ade? Who are you to do this to my friend?”

“Your friend? That being? It’s dangerous, it could have killed us.

And what do you mean by who am I ?” I asked curious and irritated.

“It’s not dangerous and you just saw that it turned into human who is Ade. And yes who are you and where are you taking me to?” He asked not ready to back down.

‘Who am I ? what happened to my son? Doesn’t he recognize me anymore?’ I thought but I looked at him and looked back at the driving mirror and saw that I was actually still in mask. ‘God I almost blew my cover to my child!!!’ I thought.

Then I looked at him who was now scrutinizing my every move, I swept my hands in front of his eyes and he looked back at my face. I had to say something to him to take his mind from him and for him to be assured that I wasn’t going to harm him but he said surprisingly,

“Take me back to Ade you just shot him. ”

“No why should I?” I asked insisting.

“Were you not hired by my family to save me? Take me back till I see he’s okay. ” he said rudely.

I looked at him my mouth gaped, ‘when did my son become so arrogant?’

We were arguing on the issue when I felt a sharp pain in my hand that had being injured by the being. It ached so much that tears started pouring from my eyes without my knowledge. Leo looked at me surprised and worry written on his face, I held my arm tightly as the pain started calming down but a blur blue light started sowing the ripped flesh on my body. Leo got up and went to the back seat in fear but he wasn’t the only one in fear. For the first time after some years back I was both in pain and fear. A few seconds later and it was done and with it the pain and the sore on my arm disappeared together. Leaving a tattoo just as the mark he had left before, I watched it and started trying to clean it but it only deepened with every force I applied. I saw that and shrugged and left it as it was.

I looked back at the frightened Leo and back at the mirror and whispered,

“What is happening to me? Who is that being? And why this strange thing after meeting it?”

‘I hate it to my body, I wish I never get meet him ever again in my life goddammit. ’ I thought angrily.

I looked back at Leo and he whispered,

“Who are you? I going to tell my mom never to hire you again. You are more dangerous than those gangs. ”

Okay enough, let’s take you to your family, and stop being rude. It’s not right to be rude to anyone, you are just a child.

He didn’t speak again and remained at the back of the seat, and looking at me curiously until we got to the house. As soon as we got there we saw my father taking….

Logan’s POV

I didn’t how I got into that room but I woke up in a room that didn’t belonged to me. I stood up quickly and felt that I had no pains in my system but the mark on my hand was very obvious this reminded me of the earlier moments. I made my way out of the room but as soon as I opened the door, I saw the most prettiest woman my eyes had ever met. But she looked familiar and angry,

‘Why is she angry? And who is she?’

My eyes traced from her face and I was going to look down when she held my head and asked in a devious voice,

“What are you doing in my room? And how did you get here? ”

“You mean this is your room? I’m sorry but a man brought me here. ”

But something was amiss because her touch was like a soothing relief for my pain, and I couldn’t miss it because as soon as she left my head, it increased tremendously. So I held my leg instantly, she looked at me and at my leg and back at me. Then she pointed at me but couldn’t say anything so she turned and walked away. I sensed someone nearby so I looked that way to see a peeping head and as soon as she saw me, she ran away.

I went back to the room after finding out where I was and I needed to thank the man for saving me so I couldn’t just leave. I looked at the bed and limped towards it in pain. I looked at the room and saw that everything was in order but then I saw the telephone by the bedside and ….
