C10 Comrade Gu Xian You Are One of Us!!

The Pioneer's auxiliary and main engines were firing at 100% capacity, with Gu Xian's concentration laser-sharp, his forehead slick with sweat beads the size of peas. He pressed on relentlessly, his only concern being the High Explosive Mines; laser beams posed no threat to him. Yet, the six mechs together had a mere eighteen mines, which they exhausted quickly, leaving them in dire straits.

With no mines to deter it, the Pioneer's advance was unstoppable. The haunting memory of its previous approach loomed over them, and now, faced with this almost supernatural spectacle, their sanity teetered on the edge. They resorted to firing the Primordial in a mechanical, desperate attempt to slow its approach.

Amidst the chaos, the team leader, who had never anticipated the mission turning out this way, cried out in desperation, "Help! We need backup! We can't beat this! People are going to die! We need support!" His voice echoed through the communicator's special channel, a lone, ghostly howl.

In front of the virtual screen, George's mouth hung open in disbelief. His colleagues shivered uniformly with shock. "Support them, now! Team B, move in!" George bellowed, his voice urgent.

Those lucky enough to witness the scene were dumbfounded by Gu Xian's combat prowess. The battle-hardened scouts had lost their ability to think rationally, falling into a daze at the worst possible moment—a lapse that was unthinkable for them.

Initially, George had thrown the High Explosive Mines with a chest-thumping guarantee that the battle would end in ten seconds. But then Gu Xian charged and vanished from sight. When it was time for the Sawblade to slice through the Aegis, George once again assured everyone the fight would conclude in five seconds. But as it turned out, only the Aegis were ensnared by the alloy net.

It wasn't until the Pioneer broke through their ranks, wreaking havoc, that the reality set in. The six Aegis mechs, in the face of the Pioneer, looked like kindergartners, leaving George and his team with their jaws agape. From that point on, their brains seemed to short-circuit, only capable of processing the visual information before their eyes.

It was then that Group A's leader suggested the battle plan involving the High Explosive Mines and laser beams.

George breathed a sigh of relief.

No matter the fight, a pioneer remained a pioneer. Stripped of its energy barrier, a single laser beam could spell doom for the pioneer.

Yet, as long as it dodged the beams, the pioneer would emerge unscathed.

Ever since the advent of the Three Blade Style, the world seemed to blur into a haze.

George and his friends watched the dance of blades and the downpour of laser beams, their ears filled with the ghostly howls of Group A. They were lost in a dreamlike state, questioning their very reality.

Is this some kind of engineering mecha?

Who am I? Where am I? What's happening? Am I in a movie?

It took the desperate cries for help from Group A to snap George and his companions out of their trance.

"We need backup, now!" They bellowed, each summoning their mechas.

The Aegis possessed the rudimentary capability of flight.

Together with George, six mechas soared toward the fray.

Reinforcements arrived swiftly, bringing a wave of hope and solace to Group A.

But the comfort was short-lived. The pioneers demonstrated that six mechas or twelve made no difference in the face of adversity.

Primordial laser beams fell like droplets in a storm.

The energy cartridges of Group A were finite, meaning only six Primordials were truly engaging the enemy.

It was already clear that six Primordials couldn't effectively counter the Three Blade Style.

The scene replayed itself: High Explosive Mines detonating, laser beams slicing through the air, and Gu Xian piloting the pioneers in a ballet amidst the laser rain.

The three Alloy Knives shone in their finest hour, slicing through the chaos with a swagger that mocked the laser onslaught.

"Damn it! Couldn't Starry Sky International have skimped on making these alloy knives?" George raged, cursing aloud in frustration. His plea for corner-cutting was a testament to the immense pressure he felt.

Observing from the sidelines was nothing compared to the visceral experience of combat.

The realization that they were powerless against their foe, destined for a slow demise, was utterly horrifying.

It was as if the grim reaper's scythe was inching closer to their foreheads, pressing down inexorably, with no defense sufficient to stop it.

"What do we do now?" The moment the High Explosive Mine ran out, Group A was consumed by despair and their morale crumbled.

"Call for reinforcements!"

"It'll take them forever to get here. Calling them is pointless!"

"If all else fails, let's just charge and take him on!" The leader of Group A brandished his alloy knife.

Everyone glanced at the Blazers advancing through the laser barrage, then at the Group A leader, who clutched his alloy knife behind a thick energy barrier like a startled bird.

"Let's think this through, no rash moves!" they urged him.

"We have twelve Aegis mechs, and still we can't take him down!" The leader of Group A was frenzied with excitement.

A member of Group A murmured, "We really can't beat him."

Silence engulfed the communicator for a long stretch.

The laser storm continued unabated, with the Blazers now a mere ten meters away.

For the mechs, this distance was nothing—a single alloy knife was seven meters in length.

"Let's engage with the energy barrier up! The rest of you, keep firing. He's scared of the laser beams; we're not!" George's insight sparked a glimmer of hope.

Their eyes shone with renewed determination.

"I'm in!" A Group B member, still intact and undeterred by the Blazers' melee prowess, volunteered for combat.

Four Aegis mechs surged forward, their alloy knives thrusting straight at the Blazers.

Their goal wasn't to defeat the Blazers, but to force a slip-up, to land a laser beam on them.

Given the Blazers' slender frame, a single hit from a laser beam would be as good as a death sentence.

Yet reality was a harsh teacher—they were still too naive.

What was Gu Xian's purpose in braving the laser storm to close in on them?

He wanted to engage them in hand-to-hand combat. Without the High Explosive Mines to limit his movements, he had no need to endure the laser onslaught.

His approach was a calculated move to get within striking distance, to slice through them with ease.

Gu Xian had initially feared they would kite him with retreating fire, but seeing them stand in formation, immobile, filled him with delight. He had no intention of disrupting this favorable scenario.

Just as he thought he had them within reach, someone unexpectedly charged forward.

What more was there to discuss?

He contorted his frame, nimbly avoiding the onslaught of laser beams.

The Aegis's energy barrier pulsated wildly, absorbing the laser storm.

Gu Xian delivered a fierce slash at one of the Aegis units.

The Aegis pilot hoisted his alloy knife, deflecting the strike with a resounding clang, only to discover two more swift cuts bearing down from below, sending a wave of terror through him.

Energy barriers, typically effective against energy weapons and shockwaves, offered scant protection against physical weapons like the alloy knife.

Regardless of the Aegis's thick armor, the pilot wasn't about to gamble his life testing the sharpness of the alloy blade.

His maneuvers were instinctive, yet he abruptly realized that each action was inadvertently drawing him closer to the knife's edge, leaving him no room to escape.

Gu Xian had anticipated his every move.

His eyes nearly bulged from their sockets as the long-awaited backup from his teammate finally arrived.

Gu Xian had to withdraw his blade, managing only to sever the man's knee with a single strike.

As the man staggered back, he screamed in a frenzy, "I can't beat him, I can't! Someone take over for me!"

Quickly, another took his place, clashing fiercely with Gu Xian.

Yet these Aegis fighters inadvertently served as the perfect shield, reducing the laser beam's pressure on Gu Xian and intensifying it on their comrades.

As they grew increasingly panicked and error-prone, defeat loomed imminent.

George's heart quaked with fear. Amidst his profound regret and confusion, the sound of an incoming email pierced the chaos.

He didn't need to open it; the email, bearing the Siron Royal Family's emblem and signifying the utmost priority, unfolded automatically before his eyes, settling in a screen corner.

With a cursory glance, George's demeanor brightened.

Casting aside his "Primordial" laser rifle, he raised his hands and, with a voice cracking with emotion, broadcasted over the public speaker, "Cease fire, cease fire! It's all been a misunderstanding, Comrade Gu Xian, we're allies! We're allies!"
