C2 Chapter one

I woke up by the ring of my alarm rang

“I hate waking up early” my inner voice said

I used the back of my hand to rub my eyes before letting a short yawn.

My room is covered with a grayish wallpaper, the floor is tiled with black which has a tinge of white on it. At the center of the room is a light brown gothic double bed with red striped duvet, by the side of the bed is a brown gothic nightstand. The center of the room is covered with a hairy brown and white rug, across the room is a flat screen TV, by the window side are two white gothic couch with an incredible gothic styled coffee table.

My name is Victoria and yes I don't really get along with my parents especially my dad,or should I say my step dad,my mom and I usually to get along but that was after she got married my step dad and she is always busy and all she cares about is her fame and reputation,she doesn't have time for me and maybe sometimes forget she has a daughter.

The only good thing mom ever did since she married my stepdad was inviting Justin Bieber to my sweet sixteen birthday party he sang a happy birthday song for me, I was so happy despite knowing that my mom only did that so people will think we are a happy family.

I hardly talk to anyone in this house except for my maid Rose she understands me and she is the only one, I can trust in this house.

I quickly entered the bathroom to take a shower

The bathroom is quite big, it has a short hallway because the closest door is connected to it, by the right of the hallway is a door to the closest and accorss it is a door to the bathroom.

The floor and the wall of the bathroom is tilted with white which has a tinged of black on it. There is a jacuzzi at the mid side, a white sink by the left above it is a mirror, by the side of the sink is a mini cupboard containing toothbrush, tissue and other toiletries. A bathroom scale,waste bin and a deluxe set of color-coordinated towels with a complete towel heater.

The main toilet is at the midst of the bathroom,beside it is a hanged toilet paper, a bathroom wash and a toilet plunger.

After I was done, I wore a high neck black gown which has a dash of gold on it and it stops at my knee, a black high hill that complimented the gown,a touch of white makeup power, a little mascara and some strawberry lipgloss, I was about leaving my room when I remembered something every important, I almost forgot my diamond earrings.

I quickly rushed to my closet,

Closet isn’t that big compared to the bathroom, it is covered with a wallpaper brown wallpaper that has white strap on it, there is a large raven shelve that could contain at least a hundred shoes and bags, an incredibley wide shelve. At the side is a brown changing niche and by the left, is a raven dresser that contained my jewelries and other accessories. A long stylish mirror hanged across the room and a long chair was kept by the left.

It wasn't easy finding the earrings when I have over a hundred earrings, but lucky for me I found it. I quickly took my hand bag and exited the room.

I don't really like dressing fancy for school but mom forces me, since she is married to a filthy rich man that has alot of prestige,I have to dress according to his taste.

I entered the dinning room to have my breakfast.

The dining room is very big, it is covered with a golden wallpaper , there is a milk rug which has a shade of brown at the center of the room, a golden Italian rectangle shaped table and chairs placed at the center of the room,at the side of the room is a golden polished Italian credenza, at the edges of the room is are big flower vases.

"You look amazing" a voice said from behind

I turned around slowly after realizing whose voice it was, It took me a minute to answer because it is really peculiar for her to talk to me, especially on a Monday

“ what does she want early in the morning” I thought

I kept on looking at her before I finally spoke

"Good morning " I said

“ Good morning my dear “ mom said

I was about to take a sit when she spoke

“ Vickkie I wanted to tell you something “

“ I just knew she wanted something “ my inner voice said

“ what do you want mom “ I said rudely

" oh come on, don’t talk to me in that tone and besides I just wanted to have a talk with you" she said rubbing her right hand on my cheek

"Talk! Seriously mom, you want to talk " I said taking her hands off my cheek.

"Oh come on Vickkie, just because I have been busy lately doesn’t mean I don’t love you anymore "

“ And besides you know I always have time for you ” she continued

“ you have time for me! Seriously mom“

"when was the last time we went for an outing or the last time we went for a vacation, you know what when was the last time we had a good conversation" I said almost wanting to cry

"Victoria you have to understand" she said

“I’m getting late for school “ I said

I was about leaving when dad walked into the room

“Good morning ladies" dad said immediately after he entered the room

"Good morning darling" mom said.

"Good morning Victoria" he said.

“ I’m getting late for school I have to go” I said

“ before you go, I believe your mom has something to tell you “ he said

"As expected, it is all about you " I said rudely.

"That is not a way of talking to your dad" mom said squeezing my arm.

"It's not a problem darling" he said.

I was about to speak when dad interrupted me.

"Anyways, we are having a party tonight and we will be announcing our newest company member”

"You will be joining our company " she said excitedly

"I knew it, I just knew you what me to do something for you but you know what! I am not coming and I will not join your stupid company " I shouted while going out of the house.

I am just tired of them, they keep having stupid boring parties and expect me to attend all and now they want to ruin my life by making join their stupid company.

“ how did they come up with that idea, I haven’t even joined college yet “ I thought

Mom wasn't like this at all, before dad died she was caring and loving but after dad's death she has changed, she ended ties with all her old friends.

I was about to open the car door when the driver stopped me.

"May I" he said while coming forward.

I quickly nodded as he opened the door.I entered the car and settled down.

"Where to ma'am" he said while starting the Royce.

"School".

My mom doesn't care about me like she does before, it like dad is controlling her.

I love going to school but sometimes it annoying, I don't get why people keep disturbing me because my dad is rich, some of them just wanna be my friend because my step dad is the most richest man in town, its been so had finding a good friend but I did.

Nora is my best friend,she was my neighbor before my mom married my step dad.

I also found two friends Lyon and Liv, they are literally the cutest couple I know and also are the first friends I made when I came here.

I met them in one of mom’s parties, turns out we attend the same school.
