“Dad, dad, can you hear me?”

He tried to turn but he was just there, I saw the struggle and I began to cry.

The doctor told me to let him be, that I should not disturb him.

“Can he see me? Does he know I am here?”

I asked desperately

The doctor said he was sure my dad knows I am here but I have to be patient with him to fully grasp his environment
