If anyone messes up, you're out of here!"

The staff responded nervously, quickening their pace. In the corner, however, a young woman in a white uniform seemed unfazed by the tension, casually munching on leftover pastries from the kitchen.

These pastries are amazing, thought Liang Han, who had been on an outdoor shoot all day and was starving.

"Liang Han! Why are you still eating?"

The manager's gaze landed on her, and he was instantly furious. "You're here to work as a server, not to eat! Don't think that just because you're here for a week, I'll let you off the hook. If it weren't for your decent looks, I'd throw you out right now!"

The manager, seeing the situation, couldn't muster any more anger. He had agreed to Liang Han's part-time request mainly because of her charming appearance, so he had to tolerate her lack of skills. "Hurry up and serve the desserts! Mr. Gu and his girlfriend are already outside!"

"What? He's already here?"

Liang Han's eyes lit up at the news. She immediately put down the pastries she was holding. "I'll go serve the food right away!"

Without waiting for the manager to respond, she turned and dashed toward the kitchen. She had been working tirelessly at this restaurant for a week, even skipping dinner tonight, all for the chance to see the person arriving today—Gu Qisheng!

The top floor was the best spot in the entire restaurant, offering a wide-open view, a romantic starry sky, and the elegance of a violin performance—making it the perfect setting for a date.

Liang Anqi, dressed in a long gown, sat in this enchanting atmosphere, gazing at the sophisticated Gu Qisheng across the table. His Italian tailored suit highlighted his perfect physique, and his handsome features could rival any young celebrity or male model. More importantly, he was incredibly wealthy, the heir to the largest family in the city. It would be a dream to date such a perfect man, though for now, they were just the subject of some rumors.

However, her manager was already making plans, and maybe those rumors would soon become a reality.

As she thought about it, her smile widened a bit more, and her beautiful eyes turned to Director Gu. Her red lips parted slightly, “Director Gu, my month abroad for filming won’t affect the promotion of the new product, will it?”

Liang Anqi was the spokesperson for the new product under Gu's, which was also the reason for the rumors about the two of them.

Gu Qisheng was focused on the stock prices on his phone screen. Hearing her question, he frowned slightly and looked up, “You went abroad for filming?”

Without lifting his head, Gu Qisheng remained silent, but Liang Anqi smiled politely, “Sure.”

The manager quickly turned to Liang Han, signaling her to serve the dish. Liang Han carried the dessert over, slowly approaching Gu Qisheng, and gently placed it in front of him, “Director Gu, your dessert is ready.”
