C12 Protest

Fang Su'e remained relatively calm as she looked at Liang Qinghe. "Honey, what do you think about this?"

"The old man has some ties with the Gu family, so this might actually be true. I always wondered how he handed over Liang's to me so easily; turns out he had a backup plan. Did you hear anything else?" Liang Qinghe's face turned a shade of green with anger.

He had tried everything to connect with the Gu family, but the old man refused to help. And now, he had arranged such a good marriage for that ungrateful Liang Han!

"Liang Han wants a divorce!" Liang Anqi was seething, clenching her teeth.

Gu Qisheng! The Gu Qisheng! The man she couldn't even dream of marrying, and yet Liang Han had him and didn't appreciate it!

Liang Qinghe had a different idea. His eyes lit up. "You should meet with Gu Qisheng more often, build a relationship. If you can manage to get closer to him, once Liang Han divorces him, you could become Mrs. Gu in no time!"

Liang Anqi's eyes sparkled at the suggestion. "I'll talk to my agent and arrange it right away."

When Liang Han returned home, Gu Qisheng was lounging on the living room sofa, one leg crossed over the other. His shirt was unbuttoned at the top, his tie tossed aside, and his hair slightly damp, giving him an irresistibly alluring look.

Liam stood at the doorway, watching him, but didn't move forward.

"Come here." The man didn't look up, nor did he glance in her direction. His deep, slightly husky voice was irresistibly alluring.

Liam had intended to resist, but his words seemed to cast a spell on her, drawing her in against her will.

As she approached Ethan, she noticed his gaze fixed on the coffee table. Following his line of sight, she saw the divorce papers lying there, the bold letters glaring at her.

Instinctively, Liam took a step back, but then she remembered she was the one who had brought up the divorce. There was no reason to back down. She forced a nonchalant smile and sat down beside Ethan.

"You've got the divorce papers ready, I see. Eager to become my brother-in-law, are you?" she remarked, picking up the papers and skimming through them.

The more she read, the darker her expression became. Finally, she slammed the papers back onto the table. "Ethan, what do you mean by this?"

"Exactly what it says," Ethan replied, leaning back into the sofa, his face hard. "You wanted a divorce, right? Fine, I agree. The papers are here. If you want to sign, go ahead. If not, then just stay as Mrs. Ethan!"

The words "Mrs. Gu" were emphasized as if he was biting them off.

He truly felt that the woman in front of him had no conscience whatsoever. After being married for over a year, he believed he had treated her well, yet all she ever thought about was escaping.

Liang Han's gaze, laced with anger, landed on Qisheng's face. "What if I don't agree?"

"You don't have a third option. We had an agreement before, and now you want to unilaterally terminate it. Naturally, there are consequences. If you think you can't handle those consequences, then continue to honor the original agreement and be the good Mrs. Gu," Qisheng replied, crisp and clear.

"The original agreement clearly stated we wouldn't interfere in each other's lives! I don't say a word when you're out there mingling with models and celebrities, so why do you get to interfere with who I befriend? You're the one breaking the agreement!"

"I suggest you take a closer look at that original agreement," Qisheng said with a smirk.

Liang Han's heart skipped a beat, sensing trouble.
