C15 Idiot
Although Han Ning didn't want to betray Liang Han, he reluctantly sent the location.
In less than half an hour, Qisheng, reeking of alcohol, appeared in front of Han Ning. Seeing the woman who had drunk herself into a stupor, her face flushed, Qisheng's anger dissipated considerably. He had been ready to be furious, to really let her have it, but he regretted it as soon as he started. Now, seeing her in this state, he felt a pang of remorse, regretting that he had intentionally provoked her and stormed off in anger.
"I'm taking her with me," Qisheng said, picking up the woman curled up on the couch and turning to leave.
Even in her sleep, Liang Han was restless. She shifted slightly, opened her eyes, and seeing the familiar face, thought she must be dreaming. She reached out and slapped Qisheng across the face with a sharp smack, then mumbled to herself, "I must be dreaming. That jerk Qisheng is probably with Anqi at some hotel right now. How could he possibly be here? Qisheng is such a jerk! A scoundrel! A liar! Saying he likes me—who says they like someone and then flirts with another woman?"
Han Ning listened from behind, feeling her heart skip a beat.
Gu Qisheng paused, looking down at the fiery, angry woman in front of him. A smirk played on his lips. "Oh? Really? Then tell me, do you like this jerk?"
Liang Han seemed a bit stunned, staring blankly for a while. She let out a big, drunken hiccup before mumbling, "Who, who would like that jerk? I, I don't like him at all! He's got a bad temper, he's a player, and he's always surrounded by women. If he doesn't have a dozen, he's got ten. How could he ever compare to my dream guy? I don't like him one bit!"
"Who are you? Let me go! Gu Qisheng is so petty. If he sees this, he'll bully me again."
"Gu Qisheng is such a jerk! I hate him the most!"
Liang Han was quite drunk, hitting and scratching at Gu Qisheng while cursing him out. But in the midst of her tirade, she suddenly collapsed into his arms, crying pitifully.
Her words were slurred and incoherent from drinking too much, and Gu Qisheng listened for a long time, unable to make out what she was saying as she cried and cursed.
Just watching her like this, Qisheng felt his heart skip a beat. He couldn't quite pinpoint if it was sheer joy or some other emotion filling his heart to the brim, making his blood rush to his head.
Liang Han was nearly passed out from drinking, and after venting, she fell into a deep sleep. Qisheng carried her out the door and straight into the car parked outside.
The night passed without a word.
The next morning, Liang Han woke up feeling like every bone in her body ached terribly, a mix of soreness and discomfort. As she tried to move, she realized she was wrapped in a familiar embrace.
Startled, she opened her eyes and looked up, only to accidentally bump her head hard against Qisheng's chin, bringing tears to her eyes from the pain.
"Qisheng? What are you doing here? Ning Ning..." She stopped mid-sentence as she took in the room's decor. Of course, it was Qisheng's master bedroom—where else could it be?
Her memory flashed back to the moments before she got drunk last night, but everything after that was a blur. She vaguely recalled someone carrying her away...
She frowned, casting a suspicious glance at Qisheng.
He reached out to gently rub her head. "Silly."
The tenderness in his voice made Liang Han wonder if she was dreaming.
"Last night, someone was crying and begging me to take her home, saying she really liked me. What happened? Did you forget everything after a night's sleep?" Qisheng's eyes held their usual teasing smile.
Liang Han's expression froze. "No way! How could I have said something like that?"
"Hmm? Say that again."
The devilish face changed in an instant. The man who was gentle and indulgent just a moment ago now looked cold and terrifying.
Seeing the Great Devil King's face turn as if he was ready to devour someone, Liang Han's face fell in defeat. "I was wrong."
