C6 Let Me Go!

Gu Qisheng acted as if he hadn't heard a thing, stepping out of the car and walking around to Liang Han's side. He gave her a sidelong glance and said, "Didn't you want to talk about why I blacklisted you? Then come on in."

With that, he headed straight into the house.

Liang Han hesitated in the car for a moment. She was already at the doorstep of the house; turning back now would only make her look weak. It was better to go in and clear things up with him.

With this thought, Liang Han, wearing an expression that said, "I'm just here to discuss why you blacklisted me, and I haven't forgotten what you said two months ago," walked confidently into the house. To her surprise, the first-floor living room was empty.

"Hello?"

"Anyone here?"

Feeling a bit exasperated, Liang Han called out a few times but got no response. She had no choice but to head upstairs toward the bedroom. As soon as she entered, she saw clothes strewn all over the floor, leading up to the bathroom door.

Liang Han: "???"

So he left her downstairs in the car while he came up here to take a shower!

He was clearly messing with her!

Fuming, Liang Han rushed forward and pounded on the bathroom door. "Gu Qisheng, you jerk—"

She hadn't expected the bathroom door to be unlocked, not even fully closed. Using all her strength, she pushed it open, only to find no resistance. Unable to stop herself, she screamed as she stumbled straight into the bathroom.

The expected pain didn’t come. Instead, Liang Han found herself enveloped in a warm embrace. She slowly lifted her head in the steamy air and looked at Gu Qisheng, who was drenched. Just as she was about to curse him, he gave a slight smile and said, “It’s only been two months, why are you in such a rush?”

Maybe it had been too long since she’d seen a handsome guy, or perhaps Gu Qisheng’s charm was just too irresistible. The words she meant to say, “What’s your hurry?” somehow turned into “Don’t rush, sir,” with an unintended hint of flirtation, like someone waving a handkerchief on a street corner.

The air went still, with only the shower still running, making the moment beyond awkward.

As Liang Han debated whether it would be more graceful to bite her tongue or drown herself in the bathtub, Gu Qisheng turned off the shower. He looked at her with a strange expression for a moment before finally saying, “Stop watching those ridiculous period dramas.” Then, without a care that she was still soaking wet, he scooped her up and tossed her onto the bed.

The jolt snapped Liang Han out of her daze. She suddenly remembered she was there to negotiate with Gu Qisheng. Struggling to sit up, she demanded, “Gu Qisheng, what are you doing? I came to ask why you blacklisted me—mmph—”

Qisheng didn't even give Liang Han a moment to respond before leaning in, pinning her down, and gripping her wrists, savoring the sweetness there.

"Let me go... jerk! I don't want this..."

Liang Han frowned, struggling and turning her head desperately to avoid Qisheng's kiss, but it was no use.

Qisheng's arms held her hands firmly beside her head, a mischievous smirk playing on his lips, his eyes glinting with the satisfaction of a plan coming together. He lowered his voice as he moved closer, "What I'm doing now is exactly why I shut you out."

With that, he kissed her again, the room filled with tension...
