C13 Chapter 12: What's Wrong with You

Sofia's Point of View :

I am currently lying here on the sofa while Leon is sitting on me. Leon is my dog

pet.

"Sofia, how many weeks have you been locked up here at home again?" Mommy's sarcastic question to me as she sat in front of me.

"Two?" Of course, because I'm a good daughter, I answered her question.

"Why are you so philosophical?"

"Mom, you asked me, so of course I'll answer."

"Oh my gosh! What's going on with you? Your husband doesn't visit here anymore. I understand he's a busy person, but what's the point of visiting you for even an hour? Oh my gosh! You young people really, it's your hard work understand."

I just let mommy say anything, as long as I'm busy playing with Leon, I don't mind her.

By the way, it's been two weeks since the incident happened between me and Nicole. After that I had no news of them all.

Me? I just locked up here in the house. I don't know, I just feel like sleeping. Maybe you think I'm pregnant? I'll take you first, I'm not pregnant okay?

I just really meant to shut myself up, because after what happened? I didn't expect that scandal to go viral. I feel like I'm famous all over the world because of that. Yes, my embarrassment is very famous.

I'm really thankful that Mommy doesn't know how to use facebook or Youtube, because if she does, she will surely know that her only child is a cheap and paid woman.

I know I did it wrong, to keep everything a secret from mommy, but I still don't have the courage to admit it. Maybe, when I'm ready, I'll tell her everything.

"Arf! Arf! Arf!" I fainted after Leon barked one after another, because I also felt him lift from the top of my stomach.

"Hey!" I flinched after I saw Alexus in front of me.

"Psh. Stay there," he quickly stopped me from sitting so I was still lying there now while he was sitting next to me. I was caught in my chest because I heard its thump.

"I've missed you wife," I gasped after he climbed on my chest. Our position, he was lying on my chest. That's why Leon suddenly disappeared because he took it and he took over. Wait a minute, did he just call me 'wife'? Eh, my heart!

"A-alexus," I called him. I also tried to remove him from my chest because honestly, I was miserable. What is this? After 2 weeks he will suddenly show up and say, 'I've missed you wife'? Like, why?

"Ssh! Just let me, okay?" He whispered to me so I didn't say a word. I just let him run and hugged me. I also tried to caress his hair. His hair is as soft as a girl's hair. It also smells good.

"Are you nervous?" He suddenly asked.

"What, why?"

"Because of your heartbeat, it's so fast. I can hear it," he said while laughing.

"It's because I am alive!" I depended myself. For sure, he's really thinking that I am nervous because of our position now. Yes, I'm nervous but I won't gonna admit it to him!

"How about you, do you miss me too?" He asked.

"Hmm..." Supposedly, I think first before answering him.

"Hmm .. what?" He asked annoyingly.

"Of course I missed you too." When I admit it. I just felt him hugging me tighter.

"Why are you here?" I asked him but he just remained silent and did not answer my question. After a while, I just felt the wetness of my neck. Because his face sank into the side of my neck. I fumbled what was wet and I was surprised afterwards when it was confirmed—tears.

"Are you crying?" Again he did not speak. I could feel and hear his soft sobs. I wonder what is going on with him. I just stroked his back and stroked his hair. I don't know what he's sobbing for now, but I only know one thing, I have no right to ask, maybe later what else can he tell me.

"Alexus, why are you crying?" Because I was curious and I wanted to know what was happening to him, I kept asking even though there was a possibility that he would speak badly of me again.

"It hurts, it really hurts," I frowned at what he was saying. I didn't know what he was referring to. He simply speaks without a clear explanation.

"Whatever you're feeling right now, trust me, everything will be fine." I smiled giving him advice. He didn't speak again so I just felt him.

"Grrrrh! Arf! Arf! Arf! Grrrh!"

I almost laughed at Alexus' reaction now, as if he were a child who was terrified of being bitten by a dog. How come, Leon is angry with him—he's jealous because its my pet. He wants, when he's the first, he really should be the only one. Besides, he really doesn't like Alexus, I also don't know why.

"Baby, stop it! Daddy's leaving now," I sat down so Alexus and I could separate. I don't know about Leon, he didn't really like Alexus.

"Did you just call me, Daddy?" He seemed surprised to ask me.

"Why, is there something wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing, it just feels so nice to hear," he said with a smile.

"Wait, are you pregnant?" I almost fell off my seat because of an unexpected question from him. He also suddenly touched my stomach, as if he was making me feel as if it was have something inside it.

"Crazy! Of course I am not!" I said laughing. Yeah, his question makes me laughed.

"Then, why—"

"I'm Leon's mommy, and because you're my fake husband, so you're also his Daddy. That's it." I explained to him with a smile on my face.

"Oh? I thought you're pregnant," his face suddenly turned sad.

"How are you and Nicole?" I suddenly change the subject.

"Children! I know you really miss each other, but kindly respect me—I'm a single mother here! Don't be here in the living room, the two of you, go and get a room!"

"Mom!" I scolded Mommy right away, because what is she saying? Then I also realized why Mommy reacted like that, because I was sitting on Alexus' thighs. I quickly left sitting on his lap and adjusted myself. I feel, I’m really red-faced right now with so much embarrassment.

"Let's go to your room?" He said grinning.

"Don't me Alexus! Stop me, or else I'll let Leon to bite you!" I threatened him.

"Mom, look! Sofia don't want to accompany me to the room!" He complained to Mommy like a child.

"Sofia! Join your husband now!" Mom told me—showing that she's siding Alexus.Why are they really on the same side? So, who is the daughter now, is it me or Alexus?

"What are we going to do there? It's hot in my room, I don't want to go there." I said, still not agreeing to what he wants.

"Turn on the aircon Sofia," Is she really my mother? I could do nothing but accompany Alexus to my room.

"Let's sleep together." He said softly.

"Hey! Are you crazy? Because it's early in the morning after going to bed? What's this?" I don't know why Alexus being like this. He's different from the Alexus that I've known.

"Come over here," he said and tried to pull me closer to him.

"Alexus heck, what are you doing?" I froze after he successfully pulled me horizontally on the bed so here we are now and lying side by side on my bed. I also held my breath because he hugged me tightly again.

"From now on, we'll be sleeping in one bed, just like this." He said then he buried my head in his chest.

The pleasure of feeling, as if I was very safe in this position. In his arms, and in his embrace.

My heartbeat is becoming abnormal again.

What's going on with Alexus? Why is he like this now?
