C15 Chapter 14: Letting Go

Nicole's Point of View :

I was crying so bad right now. I still can't accept the fact that me and Alexus is over.

It's been two months since he knows everything about me.

"Wifey stop crying please?" My husband pleaded as he tried to wipe my tears. Whatever he says or does to comfort me is still not enough. Yes, you heard it right. I'm already married, that's why I can't accept Alexus' proposal everytime he tried to asked me to marry him. How can I marry him if I'm already married?

How?

I am married to William Guzman for almost 3 years. He is the reason why I am in my position now, he helped me in my career. He is one of the managers of the modeling company I work for.

"Do you really love that Alexus?" He asked. I was stunned and looked into his eyes.

"Y-yes, I really do." I answered him without any hesitation.

"If I let you go back to him, would you be happy?" His tears began to flow, causing me to feel sorry for him.

"Yes," again, I answered his question.

"One last question, did you have love me too?" He asked again.

Did I really love him? As far as I know, Alexus is the only man I have loved for almost five years and no one else.

"I'm so thankful to have met you," I replied to him.

"No, I'm asking you if have you ever love me even just a little?"

"Of course," I answered.

"Then that's enough for me to hear. I'm letting you go wifey, even if it hurts too much on my part. I'm letting you go, just promise me that when he ignores you you'll come back to me. I'm just always here, ready to welcome you any time you want to come back." He said while tears were falling from his eyes. It hurts seeing him in that way.

I tried to hug William to thank him but he quickly pulled his body away from me.

"You can go now," I nodded to him and immediately ran to my room to put away my belongings. See you in a few days babe.

How did Alexus find out about William and me's wedding?

FLASHBACK.

"Babe what do you want to eat?" I asked Alexus as I was busy in the kitchen arranging the groceries he had bought.

"What is this?" I stopped after he approached me and showed me the video he was watching.

"Isn't this you? What did you do to Sofia?" He sounds disappointed to me while asking me those questions.

"Babe, she deserves that." I nodded and said.

"What the fvck! What the—" I stopped him from what he's going to say.

"What Alexus? Didn't I do the right thing? Because you have no intention of admitting everything to me, do you? That all of you is fooling me!" I shouted in so much anger. I feel so devastated.

"So you already knew? It's not like that Nicole! We have an agreement, and whatever Sofia and I have is because I forced her. She's not at fault!" He said trying to defend her. Yeah, of course, he's going to defend her because she's his wife.

"Now you're still on her side? Who am I to you Alexus?" I started to cry because honestly, the pain is suffocating me. This is the first time I've been cheated and I'm not aware that this is how it hurts to be fooled.

"I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry," he apologized to me but I'm hurting so much now so instead of accepting his sorry I chose to run out of his condo to spend my resentment there.

I thought he would follow me but when I reached the park near his condo there was no Alexus following me.

"Wifey?" My eyes widened after I saw William right in front of me. What is he doing here?

"What are you doing here?" I asked him coldly.

"Why are you crying?" He tried to wipe my tears using his fingers, but I quickly averted my face from him.

"Don't touch me." I shouted.

"I'm sorry," he apologized.

"What are you doing here?" I repeat my question because it looks like he has no intention of answering it.

"I followed you." He laughed like a fool and washed his two hands on his face.

"No, I was looking for you. It was a week as late as you said the day and date of your return to Italy. I wonder if what happened to you." He seriously said.

"So, how did you find me here?"

"GPS" he seemed proud to answer.

"Let's go back to where we belong wifey," he tried to pull my left arm to go with him but I still didn't want to.

"No! You go home! I can take care of myself." I refuse to go with him.

"What if I don't want?" I got stunned to what he answered.

I covered my mouth after seeing William now lying on the grass. I also saw Alexus's furious face. He thinks like he wants to kill someone anytime.

"Who the hell are you?" He asked William angrily.

"Babe!" I cried at Alexus because he still wanted to step on William.

"What the fvck!" William's swearing.

"You're asking me if who I am? I'm her husband. Happy?" William's angry answer made Alexus' face flare up even more. I don't know what to do anymore, I'm really worried.

"What?"

"Yes, you heard it! I am her husband. Oh, you don't know, now you know"

"William!" I scolded William because he also had no intention of stopping.

"Is it true?" Alexus asked without emotion.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry babe!" I apologize to him. Alexus grabbed my arm tightly and started walking so that I could obey him. I was hurt by the tightness of his grip but I preferred not to speak.

When we got inside his condo it was there that he let out the tears he had been holding back.

"So, this is the whole reason why you can't marry me? Because you're already married?" After all, he already found out, will I still refuse? No.

"Y-yes, I'm sorry." I started crying as I asked his forgiveness.

"The hell!" A series of crashes prevailed inside his condo due to the breaking of equipment near him. Even the picture frame that holds the picture of us together he did not missed. He broke everything that could be broken.

"You're angry because I cheated on you, but at first, you're the cheater Nicole," he said shaking his head as his tears continued to flow.

"You said you were hurt because you were fooled, what do you think I feel now?" His voice seemed weak as he asked me a question. I also didn't know what to say to him because I didn't like everything.

"I have my reason Alexus," I speak.

"Go away," he drove me away angrily.

"No! I don't want, please Alexus forgive me." I also tried to kneel in front of him but nothing happened. He pushed me out until I no longer had the courage to stay. He hates me that much. He didn't even let me speak. He did not give me a chance to explain.

END OF FLASHBACK.

This time, I hope you listen to me Alexus. Hopefully it’s not all too late for us. Please?
