C10 Proposal part 1

Jack's Pov...

"Who are you?" She asked, her voice soft full of curiosity. She feels so good in my arms. I knew she would ask me sometime.

"Who do you think am I?" I ask pulling her closer to me.

"A question for a question?" She said getting out of my embrace. I exhaled. I don't want to scare her but the dominant inside me says otherwise.

She turned to face me waiting for her answers.

I can't answer. I can't lie to her. I have played this conversation a 1000 times in my head, I saw this coming. I was ready. I had prepared lies but I can't. I just can't lie to my love. She is honest with me.

I just looked in her eyes. She traced her finger on my face, her touch is soft. I inhaled deeply and closed my eyes. I have never felt like this before. “Jack" she said and I opened my eyes. "Tell me about you." She spoke again.

"Zoe, go to sleep. You are tired." I said pulling her back in my arms. Her back touching my front. She immediately drifted into sleep.

She will never know who I am

I made my way out of her house. I need to release her family. I can't keep them locked up, I want her really want her. I want her to touch me willingly. I want her to be with me willingly.

"She will never know. I am jack." This is the only thought crossing my mind. The whole ride I chanted this as a mantra.

I reached my mansion. And headed directly to the cell where aarav and her father were kept.

"KING" spoke her father Bowing his head. I looked around and saw aarav laying in the corner unconscious.

"Elijah" I shout. I saw aarav shifting slightly.

"Yes boss." He immediately came

"Take them to guest room and call doctor for aarav." I said coldly. I still am angry on aarav.

Elijah nodded. I walked out of the cell, i saw crystal in the dining room. She stood up as soon as she saw me.

"Sit" I order and sat beside her.

"Is there something I can do for you?" She spoke.

"No. Just go back to eating." I spoke running my hands through my hair. She did.

After few minutes she spoke again, "These are zoe's favourite muffins." I looked at her plate. It was full of sweet. I looked back at her cocking my eyebrows.

"Would you like to have some?" She offered me munching on hers.

"No, crystal." I sighed. "I will have her."

"She asked questions, didn't she?" Asked crystal. I nodded.

"She hates KING." Added crystal.

I felt anger boiling inside me. I know this. I already know this but hearing this from another person makes me loose control. Before I can react crystal spoke again " But she likes jack."

Yeah sure, play with my emotions.

"Does she?" I asked again. this is delightful.

"Boss, I know someday you will loose patience and bring her in your life." She spoke and wait to check if i am following. I nod.

"Don't bring her here" she completed

"What do you mean? A queen lives with king in his mansion." I seethed.

"You are JACK, for her. And she is ZOE. she likes jack. She despises King. You abduct her best friend, sam. You killed her Uncle, whom she loved like her own dad. You manipulate amy. Ring a bell, Boss." Too much words from a small mouth. I threw the chair and pinned crystal on the wall.

"Let me complete." She spoke and I release her throat. “Take her to your another property, far from her."

I nod, "This makes sense"

"I have started to renovate your Farm house. Its 4 hour drive from here. Its surrounded by forest on one side for you and a nearby lake for her." Spoke crystal.

"I am impressed." I said picking her chair.

"About engagement. Surprise her." She said handing me a muffin.

"You mean, wake her up suddenly and shout ITS YOUR ENGAGEMENT TODAY?. Come on zoe get ready and meet all the mafias and ceos." I said frowning.

"Are you going to have a party?" Crystal shrieked "No no no. You can throw a party after your marriage."

"Just plan whatever is in your head crystal. I trust you." I said and left the room. Too much talking. I am tired and really need to refresh.

I was walking to my room when I heard screams. I am naturally attracted to screams so i made my way to the source of noise. I saw Elijah holding aarav and doctor examine his hand.

"Why is this bending at really awkward angles. Will he ever be able to use his hand again?" Yelled aarav's father. His face was pale. Tears streaming down his face. I wish I had father.

"Enough." Shout Elijah in frustration. Elijah was just like me. Can't handle emotions well. But he found his girl way before I found mine, he will marry her soon.

"Aarrrghhhhhhh" shout aarav in pain.

"Elijah" I called. He immediately came to me. He was frowning, he didn't like such jobs. "Stay with them till doctor operates."

"Your in-laws. You stay." He replied. His voice full of hesitation. But he got the point. I should stay.

I nod and walked in. After an hour of watching aarav coming in and our consciousness and comforting his father. We were done here.

"Why zoe?" Asked his father.

"I love her. I promise you, she will be safe with me. I won't harm her as long as she is with me." I confessed.

"Do you love her?" He asked again.

I nod.

"When can we go home?" He asked.

"As soon as you heal. Aarav will take 2 days to stand on his feet. After that you may go."

"Where is zoe?" Asked aarav in his semi conscious state.

"Home. She is with her mother." I said and he flinched.

I walked out of the room. I have work other, can’t waste time handling this family drama, just a fracture and he was already out.

Zoe's Pov..

I felt safe in jack's arms. I don't even remember when i fell asleep. I woke up next day with my neck throbbing. I run to the mirror and saw bright red marks. I blush remembering last night. I want him. I loved his touch.

"Do you like him?" A voice came behind me and i jumped. I turned around to see my mom sitting on the chair in the corner. I blushed hard.

"May be." I replied.

"Do you feel safe with him?" She shot another question.

"Where is aarav? I need to talk to him." I spoke.

Tears started rolling down mother's eyes. I walked to her and hugged her.

"What happened yesterday zoe?" She asked.

"Aarav asked me to run. He said i should escape. I did but someone kidnapped me and i ended up in KING'S mansion. I thought king was going to sell me or kill me just like he killed uncle or even worst rape me. But then jack came in. He hugged me and everything felt right." I said hugging her.

A beep sound came, I look around. Another sound came, it was from the wrist band that my mom was wearing. It was almost same like aarav but different colour. It was the band make another sound and it opened up and fell on the ground.

Mother sighed and laughed and hugged me.

"What’s going on?" I asked looking at her. I just told her i was abducted and she is happy?

I bend down to pick up the band for her but she immediately grabbed it and threw it out of the balcony.

"Where is aarav?" I asked again.

"He is on the business tour with dad. He will be back in few days." She informed me. Something was not right. I felt weird. I looked at her confused.

"Nothing is wrong . You are just tired and a lot has happened." She assured me.

The next dew days passed away. I haven't heard from jack. I miss him. I miss his touch. It was like i was drown to him.

Aarav called me few times. He sound tired just like dad. I wonder what's wrong with there business.

Emily visit me few times. She was aarav's ex-gf in his high school. She sound worried and asked for aarav. But i clearly told her that aarav was with ash and they are happy.

I woke up the next morning with a huge bang on the door. I growled.

"Wake up sleepy head wake up." Shout crystal on the top of her lungs.

I covered my ears with the pillow but didn't helped much. "Shut up" i shout but it didn't bothered her.

She shook my body like a rag doll. Finally giving up I sat up and laid my head on the head board.

She was holding a huge box in her hand and few other boxes lay on the floor.

"Its not my birthday" i frown. I want to sleep. I looked at the watch it reads 8:00.

"OMG! Its 8 only. How dare you wake me up." I seethed pulling the duvet on me again. No way i am getting up so soon. Not on this planet at least.

"Jack sent you these." She said and i am out of my dreamland. I smiled from ear to ear and looked at the boxes.

"Why?" I asked jumping off the bed looking around. May be he was here but nope. Crystal and I were alone.

I want him here..

"He will pick you up at 10" she informed. "And open this." She said handing me a box. I did.

A black dress. With red heels

She pushed me in the bathroom. I freshened up and decided to take a long bath. The whole time i was interrupted by crystal but i ignored. I woke up early. I deserve this.

I walked out, the clock reads 9:30. I spent next 30 mins drying my hairs and moisturizing my body. I was still wrapped in towel when crystal barged again in my room

"Why the hell are you still in towel?" She was fuming. I ignored. I will take my time.

"Get dressed" she said. I pulled out my black high waist jeans and maroon top.

"What the hell are you doing?" She asked me fuming. I was bothered now. Why the hell she is concerned its between me and jack and i am not going on date when aarav or dad is not here. I am not drooling over him.

"Get out" i shout. She stand there dumb fold. Her mouth open. May be she was bothered by my audacity. I grabbed her hand and pushed her out.

I immediately dressed up. I have an entrance exam next week and emily is going to help me with it. I have decided to continue my studies

I walked out. My phone was in dinning room, i forgot it there last night and was too lazy to go downstairs after meal. My phone was ringing already when i reached dinning room. Emily.

"Hello." I greet to emily

"Are we still up for studies?" She asked.

"Sure" i replied looking at my mom. She was standing on the door, her hands crossed on her chest.

I walked past her and grabbed my white sneakers. "Do you want me to come over?" Asked Emily.

"No" i replied leaning on the wall putting on my shoes. My phone held between my ear and shoulder. “Lets meet in a café. I have been grounded for too long."

"Pick up one and send me location." She said and hang up. I turn to dinning room to see JACK.

"Jack" I whispered more to myself. He was not smiling. He didn't feel safe. He was furious.

I looked at my phone, time 10:30 am.
