C4 Nightmare

During the movies at Linda's, my mind was on the conversation we had in the car on our way.

'I meet Lucien and Daniel today.' I started.

'Really?' Linda replied dreamily.

'Yes, he came to the diner.'

'Oh that's true, if there is one person Lucien, Daniel, Nicolette and Freya respect that is not a member of their family is Martha, Martha is their god mother, she was best friends with Lucien, Nicolette's mother. The two were inseparable till their mother died in a accident 17 years ago.' Janet explained.

'17 years old? How old were they then when it happened.'

'They were very young, the were just two years old, they were not given the opportunity to know their mother, I heard that their mother was a very nice person, if they had grew up to know their mother they would have turn out very well. I think Lucien is most affected by her death, Martha was the only mother figure they were opportune to know.' Linda continued.

'That's very tragic, was it a car accident?'

''That aspect has always been mysterious. No one knows'

'It seems so many accident happened 17 years ago, so many people died.'

'why did you say so, anyone you know died?'

'No, I didn't know any of them personally.'

We were quiet after that, I was thinking about my supposed parents who died in a car accident along with their daughter. It seems accident think of it's prey family, if my supposed parents had not died I wonder if grandma would have taken me in. Even knowing her later proves otherwise.

When we got to Linda's house, I met Linda's kid sister who is 7, and her mother, a very nice woman who welcomed us in cheerful. Janet seems to know her way around indicating she comes here often, well they have been friends since middle school what did I expect. After introducing me to her mother, I face changed a little when Mrs. Jackson was mentioned as my guardian, but only I noticed. I wondered why.'

The movie was over before I knew it, both Linda and Janet did not notice that my attention was not on the movie. They both agreed to drop me off at Mrs. Jackson's. Janet was sleeping over so she will be going back to Linda's.

When I got home, I greet Mrs. Jackson good night and slept off.

I woke up to find myself in a forest. Like I was looking through someone eyes, I was a figure that looks like a woman carrying something and she was running while some pursued her. I felt fear, the woman's fear even though I couldn't see her clearly like she is a shadow. I was worried for her even if I didn't know her. Then I fell asleep again. I wake again to see Lucien staring at me, he looked really scary, he had red eyes and there was blood all over him and he said 'you are mine' I was so scared. I screamed and woke up just to see a Sliver wolf in the forest staring right at me, the wolf was looking sad, like she is trying to tell me something but I am not understanding. 'please' I heard in my head. The scene changes to a dark place, then I was my nana, her back turned to me. 'Grandma! Grandma!' she started moving like she couldn't hear. 'Grandma don't leave me alone, please.' She turned and smile I never left, I was always here but you couldn't see me. You have to find the key to see me.' 'where do I find the key, how do I find it, tell me please.' I begged but grandma still left me.'

I woke up sweating, I saw just 2 am, what sort of dreams is that, I stood and looked outside the window then I notice the red eyes staring at me. I close the curtain in a hurry. 'What was that?'

It looked like the red eyes in my dream that…. Lucien had, I think I am still dreaming it not possible, I must have imagined tem there because of my dream. I peep outside to confirm my theory, I was right I imagined it there. After drinking water. I went back to sleep hoping there are no more dreams.

The next time I woke up it is morning. I woke with a raging headache like the one I had in school during my encounter with Nicolette. I didn't have any other dream but it felt like something or someone is trying to get to my head. This strange town is already getting to me.

I stood to go to the bathroom then my vision blurred and I saw flashes of the woman in the forest running. When I got to the bathroom, I notice my nose is bleeding again, this is the second time I have an headache then my nose bleeds I hope I am not sick. After bathing and dressing up, I stand at the mirror at pick up my mother's necklace resting on my chest, and my mind goes to the woman that left me at grandma door step. My mother. I signed, then go downstairs and try to eat breakfast fast but I had no appetite. I tell Mrs. Jackson bye and drove my car to school. I was walking like a zombie, not minding the stares and gossip, some touched me from behind making me freak out.

'Calm down Sliver, it is just us'. I turned to see Linda and Janet staring at me scared. ' Am so sorry' I notice everyone was staring at my freak out. What's happening to me. ' what's wrong with you. You like a mess' Janet asked.

'I don't know just don't look to well, I will be fine, I think am reacting to change of environment.' I said even though in my mind I know it is more than that. My mind went to the girl I bumped into, she said she hopes I survive. Is it Nicolette doing? It not possible right? The logical part of me questioned, unless she drugged me. No no, she didn't I felt the headache while after I decline her invitation and I was not eating anything.

'Sliver!' Linda said worriedly.

''yeah' I answered becoming aware of my surroundings. I notice both Linda and Janet are looking worried. I notice Lucien also far from us but he was staring at me. He looked pained.

'We have been talking to you, but you zoned out for like 2 minutes, are you sure you will be fine.'

'yes, it is nothing.'
