Shortly after, Su Tao sent a reply.

Su Tao: Yeah, what's up? Are you craving it?

Su Mo: No, I want to learn how to make it.

There was a brief pause before the next message came through.

Su Tao: Sis, what's going on? You hate being in the kitchen, so why the sudden urge to whip up egg tarts?

Su Tao: By the way, I'm right outside your school. Come find me as soon as class is over. We can talk more then. Pay attention in class!

Su Mo bit her lip and sent back a simple "Okay."

Worried that her sister Su Mo might nag her, Su Tao swiftly steered the conversation elsewhere.

"By the way, sis, what's gotten into you to suddenly want to learn to make egg tarts? I thought you didn't have a sweet tooth?"

At the question, Su Mo glanced at her, her head dipping slightly, her ears tinged with pink.

Seeing this, Su Tao's lips curled into a sly grin:

"Is it possible, dear sister, that you're smitten? Are these egg tarts a labor of love for a certain gentleman?"

Su Mo's cheeks flushed a deeper shade at Su Tao's teasing, looking as though they might burst:

"Don't... don't spout such nonsense!"

Propping her chin in her hands, Su Tao watched her sister with playful mischief:

"Oh my, big sis is getting riled up. Looks like I've hit the nail on the head!"

"We came from the same womb, remember? How could I not know what's on your mind?"
