Suddenly, the phone rang at home. Yifan was about to get up, but Mrs. Soong was quicker.

"I'll get it," Mrs. Soong said as she hurried to the phone.

"Yes, who are you looking for? She's here, okay." She turned and held the phone out to Yifan. "It's for you."

Yifan was puzzled. If someone wanted to reach her, why not call her cell phone?
