“Down, boy, down,” Xavier said, trying to calm Knight so he could compose himself. The phone on Xavier’s table started to ring, and he picked it up to see it was his secretary, Lisa.

“Yes,” Xavier said into the phone.

“Sir, Miss Dawson is here for the interview. Shall I send her to your office?” Lisa asked.

“Yes, send her in,” Xavier replied before hanging up
