C9 Rejected

Blevine gracefully lowered herself into the river, allowing the water swallow her. She stayed under the water for a few minutes before she rose. Her now dripping wet clothes and hair creased and glued to her body seductively. The water made her baby like skin glimmer under the moon light.

She walked out of the water and sat on a rock, not bothering about changing her wet clothes, she turned and stared into the darkness for a while before her mouth curved up in a smile.

"Elric, I know you are there."

A figure that seemed to have been lurking in the darkness for a while, stepped out of the darkest and walked towards her.

"You knew!"

It was more of an accusation than a question, but Blevine found no offense in and instead giggled at his words.

"What if I did know?"

She wiggled her brows teasingly at him and then poked out her tongue to his direction.

"That's why you didn't try to stop me."

"Bingo!" Blevine exclaimed excitedly.

He stopped beside her and after staring at her for a while, he sat on the rock and stretched out his long legs.

"Is she really the one?"

"Your mate you mean?"

He nodded and still deemed it fit to say it out loud so he grumbled.

"Yes, is she the one?"

Blevine ignored him and casually got on her feet, she grabbed a fistful of her hair and squeezed out the water from it. She let go of the hair and moved to stand in front of Elric. She let her hair fall gently on her back, she pulled lose the long lace jacket that she was putting on and it fell gently on the hard ground. The thin silk gown she still had on stuck to her body like glue, her skin could be seen through the wetness of the cloth. She turned around slowly, displaying her artistically made body. Both her behind and her chest areas were full and firm. After twirling around, she faced Elric and stared at him for a while before a triumphant smile appeared on her face. She picked up her jacket and wrapped it around her body before going back to sit beside him.

"Did that answer your question?"

Elric raised his brows in confusion, how was her little display supposed to answer his question? and what exactly had she done?

"How was that supposed to answer my question?"

"Well your expression did not sway, not even once."

The confusion in his face deepened, he did not understand what his expression had to do with his question.

"Your little display just now, how was it supposed to answer my question?"

"I tried to seduce you." She stated plainly.

"Well I will have you know that you failed terribly at it."

"Oh I did not, if I had tried this two days ago, you would have fallen right into my bed," She snapped her fingers to show him how fast and how serious she was. "But now you have found your mate, your other half."

"My other what?"

"Other half, you know, your better half," She got up on her feet and posed in a dramatic way and changed her accent, so she would sound very ancient. "She who completes you!"

She giggled and sat down back, she looked at him and said. "In conclusion, you have found your mate."

Elric tilted his head and stared blankly at the moon, he looked like he was deep in thoughts but his face looked calm and clear, even his aura seemed unnaturally still.

He let out a quiet sigh and closed his eyes, this was not how he had planned for the night to go. He had, had such a perfect plan, a well thought out plan, a genius plan but it took only a tiny vampire heiress to burn it all to the ground. He could not possibly just let it go like that, ten years of plotting, ten years of going through intense, inhumane trainings. There was no way in hell he would just give up like that. But he would be lying if he said that he didn't feel something new when he was around that vampire heiress. When he had held her sleeping body in his hands, she had felt so cold but had brought him so much warmth. He had sniffed out her scent among the hundreds of vampires and werewolves when he had walked into the estate. Just her scent had messed up his senses and then when he set his eyes on her, he felt his whole walls and resolves crumble down to the ground. And to think that she was putting on the simplest of clothes and her hair was all messed up and wet and yet he felt like she was the most beautiful creature he had ever set his eyes on. He cursed himself silently for loosing control in the cabin during their flight back, he had let her cloud his mind thereby losing control and his inner wolf had taken charge immediately. If she had not stopped him, he would have...

His eyes flipped open, he was suddenly feeling very hot. He stood up and trolled towards the river, he kept walking until the water swallowed him and he was completely out of sight.

Blevine closed her eyes and magical bright lights twirled beautifully around her. When she opened her eyes and the lights finally disappeared, her clothes and hair were completely dry, her messy look was gone and she appeared more graceful than ever.

Her gaze returned to the water and she saw Elric's figure emerging from the water with the moonlight working in his favor and making him look like a devil raising from the depths of hell.

His eyes were bright blue, showing that he was in complete control but his face was dressed in complete visible displeasure. He walked out of the water towards Blevine like a predator ready to pounce on it's prey.

He stopped in front of her and the cold aura coming out of him enveloped her.

"I want to reject her!"
