C5 FIVE

I could not sleep at night after that incident. Even though that boy saved me, my elbow and my waist were hit a little. But the reason I could not sleep was that boy. The look in his eyes still seemed to draw me to him. However, his sudden departure from there still seemed to bring a whirlwind of thoughts in my mind. I don't even know when I fell asleep thinking about all this nonsense. However, when I woke up, the first Sun of the bridegroom was shining around with its golden rays, and with that, the strange thoughts of my mind seemed to go away. I went to college today with a new initiative in the hope that everything will be fine.

Today, at the end of the class, I was sitting and chatting in the canteen with Trisha and Dev. Dev was in a very good mood today. She was flirting with me today. He was trying to appreciate the variety of my appearance to impress me. But in the meanwhile, Trisha, seeing all this nonsense of his, did not stop making fun of him. Listening to her words, I forgot about the pains in my body and smiled with an open mind. It was as if I had forgotten what had happened to me the day before.

When we were returning home, Trisha forced me to come to her house. First I rejected her proposal but at last, I can't turn down her. I think at first I had to mention that Trisha was the daughter of Hardeep Sahu, a famous businessman from Phulbari. And Dev, who was behind me, was also the son of Keshab Malhotra, a famous industrialist of Darijpur. So a girl like me who grew up in an orphanage was very incompatible with the children of these two big families. But Trisha and Dev never let me understand that.

I will not exaggerate the story by saying those things. I came to Trisha's house with her. The hustle and bustle of the city around her house, but inside her huge property, the hustle and bustle seemed to be lost in the beauty of the garden. Behind the huge gate, there was a three-storey bungalow with its head held high to show itself in the eyes of the people who come to the house. The doorman in front of the house saw us and opened the gate and greeted Trisha with "Welcome! My Lady". I entered the house with a Trisha.

Entering the house, it felt as if I had entered the stage of a circus. Trisha's two sisters were arguing over something and their mother was trying to stop them. As I said before, Trisha has two sisters. She was the greatest. Her elder sister's name was Piyali and her younger sister's name was Rita. Trisha was the most cherished, so too much cuddling had become terrible. But I found their mother Sugandha even more strange. She was as hard as she was soft. To her, everyone seemed to be equal. When I entered the house I saw two of Trisha's sisters arguing and her mother trying to silence them.

She told them angrily. "What's going on! Isn't this the house? Tomorrow is your dad's birthday. And after a while all the guests will be come. And here you are arguing over a cat!"

Piyali said, "Mother! didn't you see? Rita has come again with another cat. This time she will scream at home all day."

"Stop, Piyali. My pet doesn't make so much noise, mother's pet Trisha makes more noise." Rita said.

Then Trisha said, "Shut up! Why are you arguing with yourself and why are you joking with me in the middle, you are saying this because I am small! Mother don't see my sisters are joking about me. You say something."

"Piyali! Riti! Why are you joking with your sister." she told them in a slightly serious tone. However, there was a smile on her face.

"Ha ha, very funny! Tia get out of here. We go upstairs. Being in this circus here will affect your brain." Said Trisha.

At this time their eyes fell on me. Her mother looked at me and said "Hey who is this new girl!" Trisha introduced me and I bowed to aunt. Where I got injured, I covered the area with a bandage and tried to cover the area as much as possible. But none of that worked. Aunty noticed that. "Hey, what happened to Tia!" By this time the quarrel between Piyali and Riti had stopped also. Piyali and Riti also looked at me this time. They said, "Tia, did you go to the doctor?"

I explained my negativity in my silence. But this time aunt grabbed me and put me on the chair and asked me why I was not going to the doctor in this situation. And she asked Piyali to bring a first aid kit. When Piyali brought first aid, she wiped my hands with Dettol and put medicine on my wounds. After that, when I wanted to go to the hostel, she stopped me and said that I should stay at her house today. And in the evening I should attend Trisha's father's birthday party. I didn't turn down her, so I stayed there.

Party was in the evening, so I was resting a little in the guest room. I can't live in a closed room. My breathing becomes bonded. So I left the window open. I don't remember when I fell asleep looking out the window. But when I woke up I realized I was not alone in the room. That boy, who saved my life seemed to be floating in the air before my eyes. The look in his eyes seemed to draw me to him again. The red eyeballs in his eyes seemed to be flashing with light. I'm wondering what to do. However, I could not control myself for a long time and finally sit up.

But when I woke up I couldn't see anyone. I realized it was a dream. I was so scared. The room was the same as it was before I went to bed. But I have a pink gown next to the bed. And a note on it. It says "Tia, you will wear it at the evening party - Aunty". It was getting very windy when I was getting ready after the dress. When I came to close the window and saw the full moon in the evening sky, I was fascinated by its beauty. The nature of this mountain town seemed to be coming to me again and again with a secret story of history within itself to unveil it towards me!
