C9 Her First Good Friend.
The food on the ground is giving off a tempting aroma, and the last bit of hot air remains rising into the air.
The white marble was like a giant basin, carrying bits and pieces of food.
Ji Ye sat at the side, smiling elegantly with a bit of malice.
Ji Li squatted down, picked up a piece of meat and put it into her mouth, and slowly chewed. She had never eaten such delicious food before.
She tried her best not to think that she picked it up from the ground. It was given to her by her uncle. She had to eat it obediently, or else her uncle would hate her even more.
"Is it delicious?" Ji Ye asked gently, as if he was concerned about his daughter.
"It tastes good. Thank you, uncle, "Ji Li said with sadness in her heart, but she said happily with a smile on her face.
Ji Ye's face suddenly turned cold, as if the warm smile on Ji Ye's face had never appeared.
He stood up. "Then you can eat slowly. You can go to school from tomorrow onwards."
He walked out and did not look at Ji Li again. She knew that her uncle still hated her. The food on the ground was cooling down. She ate all of it without saying a word.
On the same day, Ji Ye found Ji Xue the best aristocratic school. Every day, the driver would pick her up. Sometimes, Ji Ye would personally pick her up.
The next day, it was a beautiful morning.
Mrs Lee rode the tricycle and left the nearby primary school with Ji. Ji Li sat at the back. She was still wearing that old robe. The old schoolbag beside her was left behind by Mrs Lee's son when he was young.
Along the way, the birds sang and the fragrance of flowers made Ji Li especially happy. This was the first time she left the villa.
A silver sports car drove from behind. Through the window, she saw that it was her uncle and Ji Xue. Ji Xue was also very cute today. Her long hair was tied with a small bowtie, and her clothes were pink.
Ji Li did not know if she should laugh or not but she only knew that she could not laugh.
The car finally whistled past and she turned her head and watched it disappear.
"Miss Lee, this is a pencil and eraser. You should study well." Mrs Lee brought her to school and bought cheap stationery at the school gate. No matter what, she was still a child.
Ji Li took it and carefully put it in her old schoolbag. Mrs Lee left and she walked into the school alone.
The sign at the door that had changed color said Sunlight Primary School. Some of the black words were already blurry.
Ji Li pinched the form Mrs Lee gave her and went to register. Behind her stood a boy. His hair was very beautiful.
It was her turn. She handed the note to the aunty who was sitting. She was very kind and had a pair of dimples.
"Your name is Ji Li?" The teacher was surprised to find that her address was the villa of Ji family. But why would she come to this kind of place to attend primary school?
Ji Li very politely said, "Yes, auntie."
"I am not Auntie. You call me Ms. Zhang." Zhang Yuqi was the teacher here. Her home was the outer perimeter of the Ji family villa.
In the classroom, many of the children were from the same village. They had already chosen their seats early on. She looked around. There was only one boy with no one sitting beside him, so she walked over and sat down.
He was wearing a brown shirt and his hair was bright.
"Hello, my name is Wen Ziyu. You are Ji Li, right?" The little boy greeted her warmly and amiably.
"Yes, how do you know my name?" Ji Li asked curiously.
The little boy said embarrassingly, "I overheard you talking to the teacher just now. Can I be friends with you?"
Ji Li was stunned for a moment. This was the first time someone wanted to be friends with her. She smiled happily. "Okay."
