“Good morning boss” I greeted Adrian with a feeling lighter than usual. I guess I’m the only one in such a good mood today.

“Morning,” He replied in a bored tone. I've gotten used to his behavior, and moods, so I didn't expect much from his reactions.

“What a killjoy” I mumbled under my breath.

“What did you say?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Nothing boss” I hurriedly said
