C4 Moment of Mates and the unknown revelation

I had just finished eating my food and was about to sleep when suddenly the door opened heavily. I turned my head and caught that familiar scent and the faces of my mates. My eyes widened, and I felt the urge to run away again, but it seemed like they could read my thoughts as they approached and gently pinned me to the bed. One settled on the left side of my bed, while the other sat on the right side.

I shouldn’t be surprised at their rejection, this was not the time to feel down. I planned to flee this place and live in the human world if I survived until then. My thoughts were interrupted when a warm lips touched the back of my hand, sending electric shocks through my body.

"MATE!! MINE!!" Both of them said possessively before one of them kissed me passionately, eliciting a surprised moan from me. He growled loudly, asserting his claim. Soon, the other one's lips were on mine as well, claiming me as his mate.

I hid under the covers, my face turning as red as a tomato from the intense kiss.

"Why are you hiding, cutie?" Ryder, whose name I had just learned, teased with a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Stop teasing her; she's already shy from the kiss," Lucas warned his twin brother.

"Yeah, yeah, I won't tease her again," Ryder said sadly, and my heart clenched. I didn't want to see my mates sad. What if they rejected me because I'm boring and weak? I needed to be strong for them.

"Hey little mate, can you come out, please we want to take a good look at your beautiful face?" Lucas asked. I giggled before coming out from under the blanket. Our eyes met, and I kept looking between them before lowering my gaze as they are my superior."Why are you looking down?" Lucas lifted my chin and gazed into my eyes with adoration, melting my heart. "I'm Omega, so I shouldn't look into my superiors' eyes," I explained. Their angry growls made my heart sink, and I feared they might reject me because of my status. The thought of their rejection brought tears to my eyes.

"Why are you crying?" they both asked, pulling me into a comforting hug.

"A..re y..o..u going to re..ject me because I'm Omega?" I stuttered through tears. They shook their heads and reassured me, "We will never reject you. You are our other half, and we have been searching for you for six years. We will never let you go, even if you want to."Lucas said

"Don’t even think of that possibility, or else we will turn down every pack to look for you," Ryder warned, brushing away my tears.

I smiled, feeling like I had hit the jackpot. ’I’ve hit the jackpot right, I got to have the mate I’ve always wanted, the one, no! the two that will love me unconditionally. ’Their scent is captivating, unlike Jackson's bittersweet scent. My Alpha's fragrance is gentle and alluring, enough to make me want to follow them wherever they want me to be.’

"Stop talking!!!" I blurted out. The room fell silent, and I noticed the worried and confused expressions on my mates faces. It dawned on me then that I had voiced my thoughts aloud. Their eyes were filled with questions as they stared at me.

"I apologize, I was actually speaking to my wolf," I tried to explain, but they just shook their heads.

"No need for apologies, you're our mate and you're free to do as you wish," Lucas reassured me, and I gave a timid nod in response.

"We've been wondering, though, about the numerous scars on your body," Lucas ventured, his voice laced with concern. The room was filled with the sound of growls, clearly indicating their anger.

I flinched slightly, but quickly composed myself, understanding that their anger stemmed from worry.

"I got these scars from..." My sentence was abruptly cut off by the sudden appearance of Alpha Maximus. My heart pounded in my chest, the beats quickening with each passing second.

Lucas and Ryder glared at him, their anger palpable. "Couldn't you have knocked before barging in?" they demanded.

Despite their confrontational question, Alpha Maximus managed to maintain his composure, even sporting a smile that sent shivers down my spine.

"Alpha Lucas, Alpha Ryder," he addressed them, his gaze shifting between the two.

"Since your mate is a member of our pack, I'd like to have a word with her before she leaves with you both. Our pack has taken good care of her over the years, and as the Alpha, and someone who has been like a father to her, I'd like to give her some advice on how to be a good Luna for Shadowmoon Pack and both of you.

'Good care, a pack member, and a father figure? What a performance,' Lily scoffed in my mind, and I couldn't help but agree with her. 'When did he become a father figure? I recall him nearly beating me to death when our eyes met for a mere second a few months ago.'

"We appreciate finding our mate within your pack, and for that reason, we will respect you," Lucas began, his words warming me in a way I hadn't felt since my parents' death. "However, she doesn't need to be a perfect Luna for us. Her mere presence and life with us is all we desire, regardless of what she chooses to do."

At his words, both he and Ryder stood up, and I felt a wave of fear wash over me. I gripped Ryder's arm as he made to leave, shaking my head in terror. It was clear I didn't want them to leave me alone with the Alpha.

"It appears she's afraid that both of you will leave her here while you both return to your pack," came a voice that made my blood run cold. I turned to find Beta Jackson, the person I detested the most, standing at the door with a sinister smile. I clung to Ryder's arm even tighter, as if my life depended on it.

"Don't worry, little mate, we're just stepping out for a bit. We'll be back before you know it, okay?" Ryder reassured me, his gaze filled with warmth and love. I wanted to protest, but I didn't want to trouble them further, so I simply nodded and watched them leave. Once the door closed behind them, an eerie silence filled the room.

"Ava, as you already know, you will be the Luna of the Shadowmoon Pack. Therefore, I advise you to keep your mouth shut and refrain from saying anything to your mates," Alpha Maximus stated, making it clear that he didn't want me to utter a word. But I wasn't about to back down. I was tired of being weak in their presence. After all, my mates were the most feared Alphas in the entire world.

"I'm sorry, Alpha, but I can't lie to my mates," I responded, surprising both them and myself with my boldness.

He glared at me angrily, but he didn't lay a hand on me. I suspected he wouldn't dare to harm me here, knowing that my mates would sense my pain even though we hadn't officially mated yet.

"Feisty, I love that," Beta Jackson chimed in, interrupting the tense moment. "But can you save your sister?"

Confusion washed over me as I looked at him. "Sister? What sister?"

He continued, seeing my perplexed expression. "Well, Alpha Maximus didn't inform you that your worthless mother gave birth to a baby girl before she died, did he?"

His words left me wide-eyed and in awe. "My mother gave birth before she died, but..."
