C14 You and I Are Just Friends

After the meal, Yov Ze said that he would send her back. Shiyao indicated that there was no need.

However, he was very good at changing topics. When Shiyao recovered, she had already told him the address.

"Mr Yov, actually I don't need to trouble you." Shiyao said.

At that moment, Yov Ze's phone rang.

Yov Ze asked her to wait for a while. He picked up the phone with one hand and said, "Grandma."

Grandma?

Shiyao thought to herself, Is this his grandma's phone number? She couldn't help but listen.

"Ze, how was your chat with that girl?" An amiable voice came from the other end of the phone. "Is she very pretty?"

"She didn't come, so I left."

She asked, "Did you call to ask why that girl didn't come?"

Yov Ze's grandma seemed to be very satisfied with the way she addressed her. She smiled and said, "It's okay. Your relationship can change. Do you want to come back for dinner with Ze tonight?"

"No, you really misunderstood!" Shiyao glared at Yov Ze. She pointed at the phone and asked him to explain quickly.

Yov Ze only smiled and said, "Grandma, I'm driving. We'll talk when we get back tonight."

"Okay, I'll wait for you guys to come back!"

After saying that, Yov Ze's grandma hung up the phone.

Shiyao stared at Yov Ze who was driving and said, "Mr Yov, you are too much. That girl is late, so you use me as an excuse?"

"My grandmother has never seen you. You don't have to be afraid. Or do you want to go back with me later?"

Shiyao thought about it and felt that he was right.

Their car just drove into the neighborhood and arrived at the unit building where Shiyao lived. They met Shi's mother who came back.

Shi's mother was still thinking about whose car was so beautiful. When she saw Shiyao getting off the car, she was stunned, "Yao? You should be on a blind date. Why don't you eat lunch with that boy?"

Then Shi's mother saw a young man get out of the driver's seat and close the car door. He was very tall and handsome.

"Hello, Auntie." Yov Ze greeted her politely.

"Hello, who are you?" Shi's mother looked at him. She was still wondering why he looked different from the photo when Shiyao held Shi's mother's arm.

"Mom, he is just a friend who sent me back!"

Shi's mother glared at Shiyao and then said to Yov Ze with a smile, "Thank you for sending Yao back. The weather is so hot, why don't you go up and eat a watermelon?"

"Mom, he has something to do." Shiyao said as she winked at Yov Ze.

Yov Ze did not seem to see it. He smiled slowly and said gently, "Thank you, Auntie."

Pulling Shiyao to the front, Shi's mother seemed to be very excited. Her face was filled with a happy smile, "Yao, your friend is really handsome. His car is quite good. What brand is this?"

"Bentley." Shiyao said. When she got into the car earlier, she was really shocked. But when she thought about it, the entire aviation company was his. Then, she calmed down.

Shi's mother did not know the brand of the car. Seeing that Shiyao said it so casually, she thought that it was a cheap car.

But even if it was a cheap car, Shi's mother's first impression of Yov Ze was very good.

After entering the house, Shi's mother warmly greeted Yov Ze, "This is the watermelon I bought yesterday. It is very sweet. Eat two more pieces!"

"I still don't know what your name is. How did you know Yao?"

Shiyao felt that her mother was talking too much. She was afraid that she would offend Yov Ze.

So whatever Shi's mother asked, she would answer on Yov Ze's behalf first. She sat next to Yov Ze and whispered, "Mr Yov, just quietly eat the watermelon. I will answer the question, okay?"

Yov Ze used a fork to fork a piece of watermelon and stuffed it into his mouth.
