Clara's POV

I think it's time for us to tell our mate

Yes, sweety, I think It's time.

We need to tell him what happened and why my old pack got killed. When we woke up this morning, Vincent Mind-linked Erik and told him that someone had been killed in our pack. We rushed to where the killing was done and saw blood marks. It said IT'S A WARNING.

Klaus survived and escaped. How? Ian killed him!

That's when I realized that I needed to tell this Erik. Someone from his pack got killed and he doesn't know the reason why, while I know the reason.

Full of resolve. I rushed to Erik's office and slowly opened the door. There I saw him sitting behind his desk massaging his temples. He looked so tired in just a short time.

I knocked and he looked at me. He smiled, motioning me to come near him.

"Hey, Babe," I told him while approaching him.

"What's wrong my princess?" Erik asked. I saw the worry in his eyes. I don't know if it's a worry for me or his pack. I feel guilty even more.

Hugging him while sitting and burying his head in my arms. Erik inhaled my scent like we haven't seen each other for years. I caressed his head and let him inhale my scent even more. When I felt that he was already relaxed, I gathered some courage and started to talk. "I think it's time for us to talk. Can you mind-link Vincent? I need my brother for this."

He lift his head and looked me in the eye. I gave him my sweetest smile. He nodded and called Vincent. After a few minutes, my brother arrived. He smiled at me and kissed my head when he approached me.

Erik's POV

When Clara said talk I knew she was going to tell me what happened. Clara walked through the window and looked at the sky.

"Babe, did you know the prophecy about the royalties" Clara said. I looked at Clara, confused, but I just nodded and she smiled.

"There's this royal pack who produces the king and queen. Years have gone by, and no queen or king was being born. After the pack can't produce new kings and queens, they changed their pack's name. Thousand of years went by until suddenly the elders got a vision, a prophecy about a royal. The elders said that the new Queen would come without its king. Then who will be our king? Our Queen's Mate" In that time, when werewolves come of age and can't find their mate after a year they will be mated to someone else. Force mating is the reason why all the royals are born in the pack. They also don't accept outsiders but now it's different.

"Yes babe, what about it?" I asked Clara. That's the story my grandma told me every night.

"I am--" Clara didn't have the chance to finish what she was saying when someone suddenly shouted. "ROGUES!" We heard shouting about rogues outside and I rushed outside.

Clara's POV

"I am-- "ROGUES!" When we heard someone shouting outside, Erik rushed outside and I followed him.

While I was running outside, I couldn't hear any noise and everything was quiet. When I arrived outside, I saw the rogues and instantly knew that they are the ones who killed my pack and from that moment I knew I changed. Angeline went wild after seeing the rogues and I let her take control. I let my wolf take over me and howled.

I let my aura out and didn't control my killing intent. I growled and continued to growl as I approach them. My pack members made way for me to approach them.

"Well, look who we have here. Hello, Your Highness" He mockingly bowed. "I missed those pretty golden eyes of yours"

Hearing his voice made me and Angeline even angrier. I can't suppress my anger anymore I let all my aura out and everyone was suppressed. Blinded with rage I didn't bother to control I let it all out. Klaus and his pack are trying hard to fight back. They were fighting back against the force thinking they can fight it back and stand. Seeing them fight back made me even angrier and directed my killing intent to them until they couldn't fight back anymore while my pack members submitted instantly.

I heard someone whine and when I looked in that direction I saw Erik on the ground looking at me. You can tell by the way he looks at me that he is worried that all he wants is to be here beside me. I calmed down and suppressed my aura. When Erik felt that the force was gone he stood up and went to look for a robe. When I saw him walking toward me holding a robe I shifted back. Erik immediately put the robe around me and I tied the robe. When I finished fixing my robe I faced Klaus again. Erik then moved in front of me protecting me from any harm that is in front of us. I was trying my best not to faint in front of our enemies and I don't want to worry Erik as it is. As expected, my body still can't handle that much power, especially since I'm still not marked.

I pulled myself together and face Klaus like nothing was wrong. "What do you want, Klaus," I asked him.

"As I said, I have come to take my queen back," he said.

"Who is that queen, I guess," I said sarcastically.

He answered back, "I don't know either" He smirked. "Well then your highness, I'm just passing by. I'll take you back soon, my Queen" He mockingly bowed and vanished.

Erik was about to run after them but I grabbed his arm asking for support. Erik seeing me gasping for air like I ran ten miles got worried and carried me into the pack house.

Erik's POV

"Mind Link me if you find them", I shouted and ordered my pack to find him and his minions.

Vincent, where is she?

I can't find her either.

When I saw Clara become that weak I rushed him to our bed. I was about to bring her to our pack doctor but Clara insisted on just resting in bed when I came back after cleaning up after what happened earlier Clara vanished. There is one place that I haven't checked. I rushed to Clara's library and saw her by the window looking far ahead.

I found her

I slowly walked towards her, when she sensed that I was behind her she turned around and looked at me. I stopped and waited for her to talk. She closed her eyes for a moment and said,

"I'm that Queen Erik and you, my mate, will become my King"

I was speechless.
