Zara's pov

“Daniel…”

“I’m fine,” he said, but the word came out thin. “Just dizzy. It happens sometimes. Give me a second.”

I took a step closer without meaning to. “You don’t look fine. Sit down before you..”

He didn’t sit.

He folded.

One second he was standing there with that half-smile and the messy hair and the exhausted eyes. The next his knees gave out and he was falling forward
