I opened the car door and knocked on the window. The guy said expressionlessly, "My boss wants to invite you over."

I asked, "Who's your boss?"

"You'll know once you get there."

"I can go with you," I said, "but it's just me. I'll leave the car here."

"Whatever. As long as my boss wants to see you, he doesn't want to see your car nor anyone else ?"
