C11 You're Not Worth This Price!

Manrong didn't even have the energy to be angry anymore. She raised her hand to rub her aching temple. Yet, Feibai wasn't done. He leaned in closer, his eyes dreamy. "Miss Qin, are you satisfied with my physique?"

Manrong raised an eyebrow. "Satisfied? Oh, I'm beyond satisfied."

A triumphant glint flashed in his eyes. Feibai leaned over, pinning her beneath him, his voice growing huskier and more enticing. "So, Miss Qin, how about considering taking care of me? I promise... you'll get more than your money's worth."

This man, with his twisted sense of humor, was shameless. Manrong's face remained impassive as she watched his performance, curious about how much further he'd push the limits.

His magnetic voice whispered in her ear, like a tempting devil. "Your husband seems to treat you like a stranger. You must be quite lonely, Miss Qin. Why not enjoy life a little, hmm?"

Manrong raised her hand to caress his cheek, her eyes swirling with emotions. Feibai could clearly see the fascination and admiration in her gaze. "How much would it cost to keep you?"

Feibai couldn't help but smile. "Just one kiss, and I'm yours. How about it?"

Manrong laughed, a captivating sound that made Feibai's heart skip a beat. He lowered his head, eager to taste those tempting, rosy lips. But suddenly, everything spun, and he found himself on the floor, his back aching as if his insides had been rearranged.

Manrong looked down at Feibai with a mischievous smile. "Too expensive. You're not worth that much!"

With that, she lifted her torn dress and walked into the bedroom, her head held high like a queen. "The doorbell just rang. It should be the room service with the clothes. Just leave them at the bedroom door, please!"

Yan Feibai took a moment to recover from his surprise, resting his hand on his forehead as he chuckled softly. This was the second time this woman had turned him down. It was becoming... more intriguing.

After changing clothes in separate rooms, both of them got ready to leave. Yan Feibai, still persistent, kept pestering Qin Manrong with questions: "Miss Qin, are you sure you won't reconsider my offer?"

Qin Manrong pushed away his intentionally pitiful face with no mercy, giving him a cold, unyielding smile. "Thanks, but no thanks. I don't need a human massage stick. And let me emphasize again, please call me 'Mrs. Gu!'"

Yan Feibai was taken aback, his face turning a shade of blue. Just as he was about to say something else, Qin Manrong clamped a hand over his mouth, pulling them both into the nearby stairwell.

Footsteps and voices echoed from outside.

"Jingming, what was that about? Why did you stand up for Qin Manrong?"

"Jing, stop making a fuss, okay? To outsiders, Qin Manrong is my wife. I wasn't defending her; I was protecting the reputation of the Gu family! If I just stood by and watched my wife get insulted without reacting, I might as well quit the business world!"

It was Gu Jingming and Lyi Jing.

Yan Feibai glanced at Qin Manrong, noticing her expression was calm and indifferent, as if this was how things were meant to be. Yet, the deep sadness in her eyes made him feel a pang in his chest, as though something inside him had been pricked.

He whispered softly, "Let's skip the elevator and take the stairs, okay? My agent says I've been slacking off lately, and I could use the exercise."
