C3 Could It be That He Was too Hasty

I wondered if there was a relationship between me and a man, in addition to the fact that I owed him money, that was in black and white?

With this doubt in mind, I went to the dining room the next afternoon.

The man was sitting in the matchmaker's booth, dressed as he had been yesterday. He wore a black suit, a wine-red tie with a gentleman's Windsor knot, and a dazzling Givenchy brooch on his left breast.

A man truly carried a halo of his own. No matter what he said or did, he had his own unique aura.

I walked over and stood at the table. "I'm here to pay you back."

The man chuckled and turned his head to the side. Raising his delicate chin, he gestured to the person standing behind him.

Behind me, it should be a man's assistant or something like that. There's a thick document in my hand. I roughly took a glance and saw that the document should be no less than 20 sheets of A4 paper.

"Miss Ye, you seem to be in a hurry to get married." The man in the booth turned his gaze to me.

When I looked at him, I couldn't calm down. His gaze was like an abyss that couldn't be seen from the bottom. There was a faint layer of frost in his eyes. The coldness carried a natural indifference.

"My family is in a hurry." I'm only 23 years old. According to my age, even if I had another two years, I still wouldn't be considered a young man.

The man's expression didn't change at all, he only sized me up. I always felt that he was examining a painting, but unfortunately, I was a fake. The man's eyes were filled with a faint disdain and mockery.

"Hmm, we'll each take what we need. What do you think of this proposal?"

"It's pretty good." I didn't understand what he meant at all, and I was a little nervous. The point was that the man was good-looking, and I didn't look at his face, and I didn't respect him. Staring at him made me lose my ability to think.

I was completely led by his nose. I would answer any question he asked.

The man raised his hand and looked at his watch, "Miss Ye, please take a look at the documents, I only reserved half an hour. It's a 2: 30 flight, I want to go to Japan."

Was he really going to do all this everyday?

I quickly skimmed through the first two pages of the document. With so many pages, how could I possibly finish reading them in just ten minutes?

But the first two pages are enough. The man means to marry me.

"No." Although the man had a face that was enough to become everyone's idol and his figure looked good, I was afraid that there were too many love rivals. Moreover, we've only known each other for a short period of time.

Even a blind date needed to be tempered. It was truly outrageous for him to be like this.

"What? I can't compare to the man sitting here yesterday?" he asked me.

"No, that's not what I meant. The point is, I don't even know your name." I said, flustered.

"Ling Mofann, my name." The man took a pen and signed the last line of the document, "Miss Ye, what other questions do you have? If it's all right, sign your name, bring your ID tomorrow, and go to the Civil Affairs Bureau at three in the afternoon. "

Civil Affairs Bureau?

I stared at that cool signature for a while and hesitated, "Mr. Ling, are you in a hurry to get married?"

"I'm not in a hurry, but getting married is only a matter of time. I need to deal with my family. Since Miss Ye is not in a hurry to get married, then I must have the same goal as her." Ling Mofann's gaze fell on me and the corner of his mouth curled up.

I looked at the slight curve of his mouth, still a little worried, and picked up the pen on the table.

The number of pens in my hand is at least a few thousand. I seem to have seen this type in a second-hand market before, and the price was five thousand.

[He is so rich. He can't be greedy for me, right?] I tightly clenched the pen in my hand as I struggled furiously in my mind.

Was he being too hasty?

Gritting my teeth, I signed my name with Party B, took a deep breath, and suddenly remembered something extremely important, "Mr. Ling, when can we get a divorce?"

"We can discuss that." Ling Mofann got up, the curve of his mouth was no longer there, he said to me in a low voice.

After hearing this, I was finally relieved.

"..."

The next afternoon, I took the bus for nearly fifty minutes, as promised by the man. I got off the bus and walked for another ten minutes.

In the parking lot outside the Civil Affairs Bureau, a black BMW 760Li was extremely eye-catching. I looked around and was ready to call Ling Mofann.

"Did you bring your ID?" The man got out of the BMW and approached me on long legs.
