Tong Yuv was not the kind of woman to be dismissed with a few words.

“No way! I have to see the CEO today,” she insisted firmly.

Su Xiaoyu spread her hands, showing a hint of impatience. “Well, there’s nothing I can do. You’re not seeing the CEO today.”

Seeing Su Xiaoyu turn to leave, Tong Yuv, in her high heels, quickly caught up with her. “You can’t just walk away!”

Old and new grievances surged in Tong Yuv’s heart. She grabbed Su Xiaoyu’s wrist, blurting out, “Who are you, really? First, you tried to stir things up between the CEO and me at the airport, and now you’re blocking me from seeing him. What’s your game?”

The sharpness in her voice echoed down the hallway next to the conference room, drawing curious glances from female employees waiting by the copier.

Su Xiaoyu was taken aback by Tong Yuv’s unreasonable accusations.

What kind of relationship could she have with the CEO? It was strictly professional! At the airport, she wasn’t stirring trouble; she was standing up for her!
