Chapter Four

"No not really sir, at least we had done nothing wrong so far, moreover we never missed any of our target, in fact we did more than target at times." another man replied

"Okay you are all right, because somebody is to be sanctioned again." Shina said in a friendly tone.

The whole staff sit very right, they all followed Shina gaze as he looked around the table, the man who prayed as well noticed that Shina gaze lingered on him, he was ready to walked away, but then Shina gaze left him for another person, he breath out a sign of relief.

Finally, Shina gaze stopped on someone, he coughed out. “Okay Mrs Halimat" Shina barely said.

Immediately the woman called quickly kneel down, she began to beg for forgiveness for the unknown offence that she committed unknowingly, she even turned to the rest of the staff to help her beg for forgiveness.

"Sir I had children, I am also a widow, you can't sack me like this, my children are going to suffer." the Woman was saying as she beg

"Mrs Halimat, for how long have you been working here." Shina asked in a friendly tone.

"Its over Ten Years sir, and I have been diligent with my work Sir, I never missed a single day, not even when my husband died." Mrs. Halimat said.

"Well, I want to set up a branch of this company in another City, and I don't know if you can head the branch in my place" Shina said finally.

The information that Shina just dropped was like a bombshell, no one believed it to be truth, actually the Company is wealthy enough to have five different branch in various City, but no one expected that the CEO will dropped the information out of the blue like this. Even the so called Mrs. Halimat can’t believed her hearing for a seconds, she poked her ears with her finger first.

"Sir, you are not sacking me?" she said almost like a question.

Shina frowned. “I never even said anything about sacking you, I aim to promote you, unless you wanted to walked away on your own." Shina said screaming loudly.

Mrs. Halimat quickly stood up on her feet. “No, how dare I walked away from a nice job and nice CEO like you Sir. “

Shina burst to a round of laughter, he knew that Mrs. Halimat was not trying to lewch him by her good words, he knew that Mrs Halimat was too old to leech him off by good words, moreover Mrs Halimat was an older generation, who will never grovel just to have something, she never perambulate. Thus if there is anyone he trusted the most in his company, it was no one other person but Mrs Halimat, who head his Marketing Department.

Meanwhile Mrs Halimat as well was jumping up as a result of happiness, she began to thank God for the good news. Shina allowed her to be happy enough, then he mentioned her to sat down, Mrs Halimat also sat down comfortably, Shina continued talking

"So I want everybody to learn from Mrs Halimat here, she came in here with a result enough for her to be equal to me in this company, but there was not vacancy other than the Sales Manager. She took the role and do it diligently for ten years with no promotion. Yet she continued her work with diligent; now she got what she deserve." Shina said and swallowed his saliva, he continued to talk

"Thus I congratulate her, and I hope other learn from her." Shina said finally.

Immediately the staff all clapped their hands together, they all began to congratulate Mrs Halimat, she as well accepted their congratulation with smile. After two minute of congratulation, Shina banged the table very hard, immediately everybody all turned to him and listened attentively.

"And so another person will take over from her today." Shina said, she pointed to his sister, Sewa also stood up for recognition. Shina continued. “Her name is Princess Adesewa, and I hope everybody will work together with her for the betterment of this company.”

Shina stood up from his seat, his expression changed to the usual cold CEO that he always way, the staff also knew this already, when it came down to work, the CEO was always cold and took everything seriously. Meanwhile Shina continued.

“And I must make you remember something very important and crucial, she maybe my Sister, that doesn't mean she get a better treatment from anyone, correct her if she made a mistake, still always remembered that, she was a Princess, whatever slander against her is a slander to the Crown, and that is punishable by death" Shina said finally and he sat down again.

The staffs all nod their head, they all began to introduced themselves one after the other to Sewa, each person who introduced his/her self to Sewa also exchanged handshake with her after their introduction. Few minute later, Sewa sat down beside, Shina also continued

"So any matter arising again that we might need to know about." he asked, he was no longer as cold as a minute ago, he now approached his staff with a smiling expression.

"No so far precisely." The Staff all said in unison.

"Well, one of the truck we used in distribution had break down." Mrs Halimat said raising his hand up.

"You can repair that." Shina said with aloofness.

"No sir. I think it needed to be replaced with new one." Mrs Halimat said again.

Shina wanted to say something, but then an idea came rushing to him, he rested back on his chair, he folded his arm together and smiled, he knew the idea was very wrong, yet he will surely took his chances. Finally he turned to his sister.

"You heard that Sewa, now your job begin, and don't think I am your Elder brother, thus I will condone laziness from you, if you fail to deliver I will query you. And secondly, look around you very well." Shina said, he point to all the Head of each department, Sewa also followed his brother signal with her gaze. After Shina had make his round with his finger, he continued

"They are all older than you are, they are more experienced that you are, and they all are the core member of this company, give everyone the respect they deserve, moreover learn from them time to time." Shina said finally.

Even though Sewa can’t understand the reason why her brother is doing thus, still she nod her head in agreement with him.

"Do I make myself clear?" Shina asked in a stern tone.

"Yes brother.” Sewa replied still nodding her head.

Shina said all together, finally he turned to the rest of the staff. "Good, as from now henceforth, if there is anything you need to buy or get for the benefit of the company, report to her, she will get it done. She will also deal with every contract and every development concerning the company." Shina said finally.

“Sir, you are practically making her the Director.” A man said.

Immediately Shina expression changed, he turned around to looked at the one who spoke right now. The man as well felt suffocation immediately, he knew he had said something he shouldn’t have said, quickly he covered his mouth using his hand, because the anger coming from Shina towards him is enough to caused his death, even the rest of the staff knew that the room temperature dropped down to zero degree.

“Do you have an objection about how I run my Company?” Shina asked in a tone which like it was from the pit of hell.

“No Sir, I am really sorry I said that.” The man said quickly in apology.

“Better be.” Shina said finally, he rested back on his chair, and he began to breath in and out for more than a minute, before he was able to controlled his anger.

Meanwhile, none of the staff could utter out a single word, because they are suffocating under the pressure from the CEO, but when they noticed that Shina was breathing in and out, the pressure on them began to lessen.

Finally Shina smiled. “Do I make myself clear?” he asked still smiling.
