Chapter Seven

Due to the movement, the population reduced, moreover some families won’t allowed their children to move, thus many children just stayed at home doing nothing than farming, there many talent are dying in the community. Shina heaved out in frustration first, then he knocked on the gate, but there was not a single replied from within the fence, he fished out his phone from hua pocket and dial Chuks number, the phone rang for a few seconds, Chuks also picked up from his end.

“Hey Prince.” Chuks voice sound from the phone.

“I am outside your house.” Shina said and hanged up immediately.

Shina turned around and fold his arms together, he was awaiting Chuks to opened the door, he looked around again and heaved, then he removed his spectacle, he fished out a white handkerchief and used it to cleaned the glass, he put the glass back on and turned back at the gate.

The same time, the gate open from the inside, a muscular guy walked out and stood opposite Shina with a smiling expression.

“Where is your car Prince?” Chuks asked first, he was looking around like the car had turned to pin.

“I came here in a cab.” Shina replied in a stern tone.

“Oh! I see.” Chuks said turned around, he also walked away. “Come on in, the children are waiting for you.”

Shina nod his head and followed after Chuks into the compound, Chuks also locked the gate after himself, he lead the way and Shina followed after him. Shina voice out first.

“So what's up now?" he asked first.

“Everything is prepared just as you requested." Chuks replied immediately without turning around.

“How many are we discussing?” Shina asked again.

“Well, I and few helper were able to gathered about fifty children.” Chuks said and stopped abruptly, he turned towards Shina. “There parent actually released them to joined us.” He turned around and walked away again.

Shina frowned first. “Just fifty, that is too low.”

“Well, you might say that buddy, but those fifty joined only after much persuasion from I and my helper. But I believed if the people see what we are doing, they would join as soon as possible.” Chuks said all together.

Shina nod his head. “Alright I agreed with that.”

"Let me check it up" Shina said.

Chuks nod his head and he turned around to walked away, Shina also followed Chuks deep into the house. Finally just a few minute layer, they both walked out of the dark veranda, which looked like it was endless tunnel at first, they both make it to the backyard. Chuks stopped first, and he pointed forward to a direction, Shina as well looked towards where Chuks pointed to.

Shina was marveled at what he saw, ahead of him were about seven adult sited, there were over fifty teens as well sited on the chair, the teens should be about twelve to thirteen years, amidst them was a five years old kids, due to lot of kids around, the place was rowdy a little bit, and the adult are trying to control them.

With a look of a total awe, Shina turned back to his friend and he smiled, he removed his glass to revealed his handsome face, he nod his head first and looked back at the people sited.

“Hey Chuks Buddy, you really surprise me." Shina said still nodding his head.

Chuks as well smiled too. “Its nothing My Prince, anything I can do to make you glad, I will surely do it." Chuks replied, he felt happy to be appreciated by Shina.

"Then let's go begin then." Shina said again, he put his spectacle back, the spectacle covered his undefined expression.

"After you My Prince." Chuks said with his hand stretched forward.

Shina also nod his head vigorously, he knew his destination already, thus he does not need Chuks to lead him any longer, he proceeded forward to the group of adults and kids, Chuks also followed after him. They both make it to the crowd, they both stood in the front of everybody.

Chuks raised his two hands up, immediately the rowdiness stopped when the teens sight someone standing in their front, Chuks coughed out first, then he voiced out confidently.

“Okay guys, we all gathered here for a purpose, we are here today for an important reason, which surely will benefit everyone of us, including our community.” Chuks saud, first, he turned back to Shina. “Well he spear headed this programme, so let’s ear from him first.” Chuks said finally and shift towards the side for Shina.

Shina as well smiled first, he also removed his spectacle for transparence, he did not wanted the Teens to be fearful of him, thus after taking off his glass. He smiled at the kids.

"Well I am Prince Shina, the only Son to the King of Agbadi," Shina said first.

“You are welcome Sir." the Teens all chorused together.

Shina smiled again and continued. “Well about five years ago, this part of the town saved me from death, so I made lot of friends at the same time, yes I left for the palace, yet this town remained in my mind.” Shina looked around again, then he continued,

“Thus some weeks ago, I only came to visited my friend Chuks, then I saw most of you here just wandering all around the town, when others are at school or at somewhere trying to make change. When I asked from my friend why it is so, the answer I got is not promising at all, them I decided to gather you all here" Shina said.

But then Chuks continued. “Well, he urged me to gathered you here, so as to teach you guys handwork, something that will bring you money when you grow up, and at the same time empower you after he knew the handwork very well." Chuks said finally.

“Since most of you are teens, I will want you to come here every morning and learn anything you wish" Shina also add.

“Thank You sir" the Teens all chorused together.

Shina smile to his heart content, he was very impressive of the teens quick wit. Finally he turned to the Adult who are standing in another side from the Teens, he voice out to then.

But this time, Shina gentle tone already changed to his usual bossy tone, though there is no coldness in his tone, yet it was far different from the tone he used to talked to the teens about few seconds ago.

"Sirs and Ma's, I will want you to do a very good job concerning this teens, I don’t care about the amount you ask as compensation, I will definitely take care of it; just ensure that those kids are sound in whatever they choose to learn." Shina said with a very serious expression.

The Adult are very stunned at how quick that Shina changed Hus feeling and expression, including his mode of communication, some even feared if they can continued working for him, yet they all nod their heads.

After they had agreed with him, Shina as well exchanged handshake with the Adults one after the other. Finally he turned back to the Teens, immediately he has changed back to usual kind and lovable Prince, he even smiled first before he talked to them.

"Guys, you all are not old enough to make a decision, but after living this long with your parent, they should be aware of what you are good at. Thus we have five profession here to learn, there is Tailoring, there are also Artwork, Barbing, Carpentry, Photography, and finally there is also Artworks. So I want you all to go back home and talk to your parent on what you should do, tomorrow we will met here again" Shina said finally.

The teens all nod third head in agreement with him, but then Shina looked around with a smiling and kind look, suddenly his attention fall on a kid.

Shina can’t explained why, but he felt so attracted to the boy, first the boy was different from that rest of the kid, that boy was just five year old, even though he might be suffering from malnutrition, yet the boy was glowing different.

Shina had never felt this attraction to someone other from his family member, there is only one person whom he loved more than himself, and that was his own sister (Adesewa).
