Chapter Nine

Chuks burst to laughter. “Just keep doing good my Prince, you always have my support."

“Oh great, I have a free place to launch every of my programme right now; I can now worry less about venue.” Shina said and was walking away.

“You are not seriously turning my compound to your yard right.” Chuks said.

Shina stopped on his track. “What do you think?”

Immediately Shina burst to laughter, Chuks as well began to laughed, both finally exchanged handshake again, Shina walked out and board a taxi, then he head back to his company.

Shina board a taxi and head to his office, the journey back to the company seems to be more quick than when he left in the morning. He alighted the taxi and paid the Taxi driver, he looked at his wristwatch and the time reads 5:30om, he walked into the compound, he find his sister at the door waiting endlessly for him.

A huge smile formed at Shina mouth, he approached his sister first, but Adesewa was pouting silently, she said nothing to Shina, but she opened the door and board the car, Shina almost laughed out seeing how funny she behaved, Shina walked to the driver side, he also board the car

"Where did you go to brother?" Sewa asked first.

Shina was actually dealing with his seatbelt, but he turned to Adesewa with an undefined look, he actually removed his spectacle already, thus his expression was no longer under concealment. Shina heaved first, he tight up his seatbelt and focused his attention on the steering.

Adesewa turned to Shina. “Brother, where have you been for over Eight hour?”

“I just go out to visit a friend." Shina replied without blinking, though his hand are on the steering, he had not start the car.

Actually both are still in the unmoving car, thankfully for them, the car was soundproof, thus there conversation is not heard by third party. Even though Sewa was angry, still she was putting on her seat belt, she sensed that Shina is ready to drive.

“But why should you forget your company just like that?" Sewa asked again, she almost in anger.

"Sewa, don’t you understand my intention yet?" Shina asked in an agitated tone, his attention was now centered on Sewa.

Sewa was shocked by her brother reply, her hand even froze on the seatbelt that she hold in her hand, he mouth was also opened wide in anticipation, because she still can comprehend what Shina meant.

After a few seconds, Sewa recollected herself. “I am sorry come again.”

Shina eyebrows raised up. “I said don’t you understand my intention yet?”

“Brother, what do you mean by your intention?" She asked again looking so confused.

Shina heaved out, his right elbow was on the steering. “Sewa listen to me.” Shina began. Sewa also listened attentively, her whole attention was on Shina. Shina also continued.

“Very soon I will be king of our great Ejibe Kingdom, do you still think I will be running this company again? Shina said finally.

At first Sewa frowned very hard, she seems to understand what Shina was driving at. For a minute, silence ensured in the car, but then Shina started the car, and wanted to drove away. But Sewa stop him from moving, she remained confused.

“So are you saying, you are making me the C.E.O of your company just like that??” She said, her frowning eyes didn’t just caused her beauty to loosen, instead it carried more aura of a Princess.

Shina nod his head vigorously, she turned to looked at Sewa. “Yes, the Sales Manager is just a camouflage; so I expect you to run the company well in my place." Shina said finally with a tone of a King.

“But what will you be doing then?" Sewa asked in weary tone.

“I will just be watching from aside." Shina said finally.

Immediately he started the car, he drove out heading back to the Palace, Sewa turn to him again, when they are halfway to the Palace, Sewa voiced out after God know his minute of silence.

“Brother, whom should I trust among your worker?" she asked still in a weary tone.

“Whom to trust is up to you, but I will say Mrs Halimat and Mary are one if those people you can trust with all your mind." Shina replied.

Meanwhile, the car was already in front of the compound that housed the palace, Shina honk the car in front of the gate, immediately a Guard opened the gate from inside, Shina also drove into the compound, he parked the car and put off the engine, Shina locked all the glass, he wanted to alighted from the car, but Sewa held his hand to stopped him.

“Tell me who is Mary?" Sewa asked again, he was still disturbed by the news from Shina

Shina sat back. “She was my secretary, but she is now your Secretary." Shina replied.

Without even waiting for Sewa again, he alighted from the car, Sewa also alighted from the car too from the other side, she clutched her folder to herself, she walked directly into her room, one of her Attendant wanted to took the file from her, but she refused totally, maybe she was still disturbed by the information from his brother, or for some other reason unknown, she just head directly to her room straight away, she even walk away without greeting her parent.

Shina also came in after her, he actually was talking to the guards, which is why he was late coming in, he met King Ade and Queen Leila sited in in the sitting room, their countenance showed much shock on them. Shina stopped on his track first.

“Are you both okay?” he asked with an inquisitive expression.

“Do we look that obvious?” King Ade who snapped out first asked Shina, his attention was now focuses on Shina.

“You both looked like someone who just heard his death day.” Shina said, his expression was now back to normal.

“What happened to your sister?” King Ade asked again.

Shina burst to laughter, he realized what happened to the two royalties even without them explaining, he sat down first, and he informed his parent about his decision, immediately both King Ade and Queen Leila both burst to a round of laughter too, Shina as well join them in laughter. When they are all satisfied, Shina stood up, he wanted to head to his room,

“Shina come back, we have something to discuss with you.” Queen Leila said.

Shina turned back and sat down comfortably. He turned to his parent. “I am all ears.”

“Shina my Son, you are the future King of this community.” His Majesty began, his gaze was locked on Shina. “Am I right?”

"Oh no, this is not going to end well.” Shina said in a frustrated tone.

Her Majesty also fake anger. “Common answer your father question." Her Majesty said almost in anger

Shina raised his hands up in surrendering. “Okay yes. And before anything else, I am still searching for my wife.” Shina said, he looked back at his parent, they both appeared to be taken aback by his reply. Shina continued.

“Anything else that is important that I must know?” Shina said finally.

For a minute, the room was in silence. Shina stood up and wanted to walked away, but then Her Majesty voice caused him to reconsidered his decision, he sat back and was waiting for Her Majesty wanted to say.

“Well tell us why you haven't found a suitable girl yet?” Her Majesty asked.

“Mother, I knew the rule, a Queen must be able to carry herself with pride, with dignity and no flaw, she must be influential and blah blah all like that.” Shina expression changed. “So I haven't find someone who caught my eyes, and also fall into all those categories." Shina said finally.

He looked back at Her Majesty face. Just as expected, Queen Leila is not satisfied with Shina reply, she wanted to said something, but His Majesty stopped her.

“Shina, you knew you can't find a woman when you are too preoccupied." His Majesty said, he stood up from his throne and walked towards Shina. “Its eithe you were at office or you are at your studio drawing.”
