C2 A princess turned slave

CHAPTER 2

Princess Emma was brought before Alpha Devon at the park grand hall.

Emma sat on her chains. She was way too tired to even bulge from where she was sitting.

"Princess Emma will be stripped of her title as a princess and position. Her rank will be degraded to a slave's level. Emma will become my slave henceforth" Alpha Devon announced coldly.

'Devon I don't think you're doing the right thing. Stripping the princess off her title is similar to killing her and don't forget the hidden truth' Scott, Alpha Devon's wolf spoke to him.

'Whatever hidden truth it may be, I don't care. There's no future between Emma and me' Devon responded.

'Once again you're neglecting my warning' Scott said and Devon frowned.

Emma raised her face with a cold look in her eyes as she glared at Alpha Devon.

"You might as well just kill me. I would rather die than become your slave! You've killed the whole of my Pack, why do you bother sparing me?" Emma screamed with her last strength and everyone shivered as they felt for princess Emma.

"How dare you raise your voice at the Alpha! You should be grateful your life is been spared" Kent said coldly and Emma scoffed.

"Grateful? Did you just say grateful!" Emma laughed frustratedly.

"What's wrong with her? Has she finally lost her mind" Some of the elders murmured?

"Take the slave away" Devon instructed and Emma was dragged out of the grand hall.

"Sire, why did you spare the princess's life?" One of the elders questioned and in a blink of an eye, Devon was standing in front of him. Grabbing his neck tight.

"What gave you the audacity to question my decision? You have no right to question me, you get that!" Devon threatened in his face and he trembled in fear.

"Get lost" Devon squeaked and everyone left the grand hall in a hurry.

"How dare she raise her voice at me!"

"I think you need to relax, she's trying to provoke you but that shouldn't get to you," Kent said slowly.

"Why do I need to relax? She looked down at me. What the nerve?"

"It's not too late to renounce your decree. Let's finish up what we started, not a single royal line from shadow pack should be kept alive" Kent suggested cruelly.

"Killing her will be too unfair to me"

Alpha Devon had a flash of the past.

Devon got locked up for days after Luna's death. He lost complete control of his powers because he was in grief over his mother's death.

She needs to feel that as well. Devon said in his head.

"She should be given all the difficult tasks in my chambers, she can't be allowed to work elsewhere except my chambers" Alpha Devon instructed coldly.

"Should we give her some time to adjust to being a slave or not?" Kent asked and Devon glared at him.

"No special treatment to anyone who's an enemy of the grey pack," Devon said and walked away.

Emma was taken to her room. The room was filthy and was similar to that of a pet house.

"Am I supposed to keep on living here?" Emma asked arrogantly and the guards laughed.

"If you think it's not good enough for you, you might have as well just sleep outside"

"You won't be needing this room anytime soon" The guards mocked then left.

Emma looked around the room and tears roll down her eyes.

She sat in a corner and cried her eyes out.

'Emma, it's suspiciously quiet. I think we should go have a look outside' Rose, Emma's wolf cut in through her thoughts.

"I'm still grieving for my parent's death" Emma answered with so much hate.

'I don't think that's the case here. It's quite busy outside but you're the only one not doing anything Rose said.

Some maids barged into Emma's room.

"You forsaken she-wolf. What are you still doing here? The alpha's bedroom is a complete mess" One of the maids yelled.

"And how does that got anything to do with me?" Emma shrugged looking away and the maids bounced on her, pulling her hair hard.

Emma screamed in pain as they influenced pain on her.

Minutes later, Emma sustained so many bruises on her body but she was forced to go to the alpha's chambers.

Alpha Devon lay on his bed. His thoughts and mind were lost in a magazine when Emma walked into his room.

He had a glance at her and ignored her.

Emma picked up the clothes on the floor. She worked slowly all thanks to the bruises she had on her legs and arms.

"Do that quickly and get lost. The sight of you, disgusts me" Devon said with so much hate and Emma laughed with the remaining strength left in her.

"Since you've silenced my pack, why does it still feel like you're still not satisfied" Emma scoffed.

Devon stood up from his bed with a cold expression on his face.

"Do you realize who are you talking to? If you had other options, you wouldn't be alive right now so shut it and get to work before you lose a part of your body" Devon said as he appeared in front of her in a blink of an eye.

"I will prefer death to this" Emma said with so much hatred in her eyes.

'Emma I think you should mind your tone. He's not the cold simple-minded Devon we used to know' Rose warned her.

Alpha Devon grabbed her tight by the neck and she ran shut of breath, scavenging for air.

"You've got the nerve. Just so you know, you're no longer a princess but a slave in the Grey pack" Devon said in her face coldly.

Emma tried so hard to catch her breath but Devon's grip was way too tight to fight back.

Alpha Devon let go of her and she fell to the ground and started to cough.

You're nothing but a monster. Emma cursed in her mind and Devon glared at her as he read her thoughts.

Devon walked out of his room.

Emma had flashbacks of her first meeting with Alpha Devon

...."Emma says hello to Devon, the son of Alpha Tyler" Alpha Falcon introduced.

Emma stole gazes of Devon who didn't care about the meeting.

...."Father, I have to go back to training," Devon said coldly and left the meeting hall.

He's quite cold for his age, that's unique. Emma said in her head with admiration.

Emma stood up from the ground and continued cleaning.

You never liked me or my pack but why did you agree to get married to me? Was this your plan from the very beginning? You made my pack let their guard down. Emma said in her head as hot tears roll down her cheeks.

Emma wasn't done cleaning when Alpha Devon and the beta's cousin Sophia came into his bedroom with their lips clenched together.

Devon vigorously tore Sophia's dress as they fell on the bed.

Emma's eyes were wide open as she watched Devon and Sophia moaned in ecstasy as they had quick rough sex in her presence.

Emma's broom dropped from her hand in shock and Alpha Devon noticed her presence.

"Get lost!" Devon yelled as he broke his kiss with Sophia halfway.

Emma ran out of the room and held her chest which was racing faster than it usually does.

'Does this mean my relationship with Alpha Devon is now broken for good?' Rose said.

Emma exhaled sharply.

"It's for the best because I have no plans on ending up with a monster like himself not after what he did to my pack and family," Emma said with so much hate.

Emma walked to her room with her mind crowded with hurt and grief.

Someone bumped into her and some water splashed on the ground.

"I'm so sorry" Charlotte trembled as she bend over to wipe the floor with her clothes.

"Charlotte" Emma called out breathlessly with her eyes fixed on Charlotte.

Charlotte raised her head slowly and her eyes widened in shock.

"Emma" She called out in excitement then gave Emma a tight hug.

"Charlotte, you're alive. Thank you for being alive but how did you end up here?" Emma asked curiously as tears escaped her eyes and Charlotte broke the hug.

Charlotte took her to a corner that no one visits or walks past.

"I barely escaped but I was given a second chance to live. Beta Kent, spared my life and that of other she-wolves the same age as me but in return, we would be made slaves of the Grey pack" Charlotte explained and tears kept rolling down Emma's cheeks.

"It's all behind us now. Our parents were murdered in cold blood, the same with our relatives. I'm grateful you survived Charlotte"

"Well I have the feeling the Alpha got other plans for bringing us here alive. Do you think he's going to use me as a bet someday to get to you?" Charlotte asked sadly.

"Of course, I would never let that happen. He took everything away from me and that's because I was powerless" Emma said with hate.

"I told you, he is a monster in human clothing," Charlotte said then boost into tears.

"I miss my family so much, I couldn't even safe them" Charlotte sobbed heavily and Emma hugged her, holding back her tears from dropping.

But Emma suddenly started hearing whispers of some maids.

..."I heard the new slave from the shadow pack witnessed the alpha making out with Sophia"

..."She's in trouble, I guess she's next in line. No one dares witness the alpha in such an act and go freely untouched"

Some maids whispered from the other end of the wall and Emma's eyes widened in shock as she heard their conversation with the help of her inner powers.

'Emma what are you going to do if the alpha pushes through with what the maids said' Rose cut in and Emma frowned.

"Emma I have to go now. I need to go clean up the rooms of the maids" Charlotte said and Emma shot her eyes for a second as anger consumed her mind.

"They're just maids, why do you have to clean up their rooms as well" Emma screamed angrily.

"Take your voice down. I was assigned to do all of it by Beta Kent"

"Alpha Devon, and Beta Kent they're both werewolves sent from hell. I promise to put them in their place someday. They won't get away with this" Emma said angrily as she clenched her fist.

"Emma, get here!" One of the maids called out loudly from a distance and Emma trembled as she sighted her.

"Emma go ahead and don't push it too hard okay" Charlotte whispered.

Emma was pulled by the hair to Alpha Devon's bedroom.

"Why do you keep bringing me here? I prefer to work in other places" Emma said in a low tone after catching her breath.

"You're sure one rock-headed bitch. The alpha's chambers are your only place of work" The maid said rudely then walked away.

Emma went into the room slowly. Alpha Devon was standing close to the door when she went through it.

"It has only been a day and you're sick of coming back here. How does it feel to be in the same space as the one who destroyed your family?" Devon asked coldly and Emma clinched her fist looking away.

"Did you kill my family because of hatred or revenge?" Emma asked holding back her tears.

"After 22 years of my life, I'm excited to hear a question like this" Alpha Devon smirked and tears clouded Emma's eyes threatening to fall.

Emma's claws came out and she made to attack the alpha but he was way too fast for her to get.

"You're just a weakling she-wolf. You can't do anything without your father or mother. The pain you feel right now is nothing compared to what I have in store for you so hang in there" Devon said coldly holding her hands tight from behind and he tossed her aside with his full strength.

Emma hurt her head on the wall.
