C2 How I Wish...

Gwendoline and I are the exact opposite of each other. She's lively, fun, carefree, and she really didn't care about people's reviews on what she should and shouldn't do.

Meanwhile, unlike Gwen, I am quiet, boring, a vibekiller, and people's reviews were my way of life. I so much wish I was like Gwen, but I couldn't control it.

Marla, Gwen and I were closest friends in school and class. At least, Marla and I were a bit more similar, compared to Gwen and I. "Silvie, I really don't know what's up with you today. Yes I know you're the quiet type, but c'mon! It's way worse today!" Marla complained as she pulled out a seat beside mine, and sat on it. "Oh...really?" I replied. "Like yeah!" She said. "You've been staring at that area all along, what's up?" She asked with an amused look as she took a quick look at Terry's desk. "Meaning?" I asked, turning away from her. "Do... Do you?..." "Do I what?!" "Do you In any way like him?" She blurted out. "No!" I denied "No!" She repeated "Sincerely, I don't like him. I didn't know it was a crime to take a quick glance at a classmate" I defended, but the stubborn Marla was still going on and on about the topic. "Aren't you hungry Marla?" I asked "No, I'm not... And by the way I'm not leaving until you say the truth". She said, as she unwrapped a lollipop.

SUB CHAPTER_ "WHAT?"

"Ding, ding, ding" Went the sound of the bell again. It was time for closure. "Silvie, pack your things, we need to get going" Gwen said. "You actually had the time and chance to tell her that. We really should have left her here. Daydreamer" Marla teased, and Gwen laughed. I stared at them for a while before I got off my seat. I left for the lockers room to get my school bag. I really didn't want to leave school. I wanted to stay in school, and stare at Terry all day long. I was about leaving, when I bumped into someone. "I'm sorry" Came the voice, and I looked up. Guess who. It was him! My crush! My heart was gladened, but also, it began pounding hard.

"So you and I are the last to take our bags today" He said, with a smile. Terry was just a week old in my school, and my feelings had already grown this much. "Uh... Yeah! That's right" I managed to say, with a wide smile. Then I realized standing there, staring at him was a bit awkward. I decided to tie my shoes. I wasn't comfortable with that either, but I didn't want him to know I was spending time there waiting for him. I was through with fixing my shoe, but he still wasn't done with his books. "I really should be like Gwen and speak up". I thought. He was out of sight, so I couldn't see what he was doing. "No...I can't talk to him" The shy part of me chirped in. "Okay I need to do this, I can do this... Three... Two... One... Go!" I counted, with my eyes closed, and my palms covering my ears. " You're spending a lot of time there" I heard myself say. My hands flew to my mouth immediately. "Oh...I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were waiting" He replied, still out of view. "But, I'll be out in a few seconds". He added "Whew! That wasn't so bad..." I thought, smiling. And true to his words, about ten seconds later, he came into view. But then, he stopped on his tracks. He stared at my face for a while, and I blushed. But it turned from blush to discomfort when I noticed he was staring at my chest. "Your... Shirt button is open" He said, staring into my eyes.

"What?!..."
