"I promise I won't"

"Please be quick I will be at the company anytime soon!" She said and ended the call swinging the phone in the air as she clenched the chair handle tightly.

"Ohh no what a woman everybody come on quickly follow my orders!"

Martin said after dropping the phone.

“ is the hall ready?”

Martin asked in a hurry as he was typing some things on his computer.

“ where is Mrs Larry? She and her team should decorate the hall and yes make orders for this ocassion according to what was scheduled before!”

He commanded as he hurriedly ran down the stairs to the technical team quarters.

“Quick! Relate this message to the social Media handles and make sure to put it right,just as you have got it!”

he said as he quickly dialled a number on his phone.

“ Hello! The apartment for Mr lorentazo prepared? Quick make sure it is well furnished. ”

He said and end the call turning to the people staring at him.

“ why staring guys? Come on start work!” He commanded.

“ Of course but I do not understand?” Asked one of the team member.

“ what don't you understand? We will lose a huge money and fame if we ever cancel this launching, i honestly didn't know what your boss was thinking before he... Come on, hurry make sure this message circulate.”

“ Sure we are on it!”

They answered as he left to his office.

“Hello madam, I have done as you have said, i have made the arrangements and we are getting much people than we got the first time.”

Martin happily yet nervously said to Mrs Abigail.

“ Thanks Martin, i owe you for this. I will be on my way to the company.”

“ Yes! You have to come madam, there are things you need to learn.”

He said.

“The speech?”

asked Abigail as she stared into a piece of paper in her hands.

“ Yes! And how about sir...”

“ Do not worry, I have taken care of that.”

She said confidently.

“ Yes! Alright ma. Awaiting your arrival.”

“ Alright,make sure everything is in order.”

She said and hanged the call as she walked towards her wardrobe.

“ You say I'm a badluck to you Dennis, alright, today I will either prove you wrong or right, but I'm certain I'm going to prove you wrong then you will know, that I'm the best thing that ever happened to you.”

She said staring at his picture as she brought out a purple long dress with sleeveless hand and an opening at the back.

“This should do!”

She said turning the dress around.

“ Maybe not, i guess this peach should be okay, no! The pink will be fine.”

She said selecting each dress as she finally choosed the pink dress. The pink dress has a fluffy hand and it's turtle necked with a long sleet at the back.

“ this is going to be okay.”

She said smiling as she called the landline downstairs. The landline isn't meant for the house, it's specially for Mrs Alicia.

“ Hello please i need your assistance here hurry up.”

She said and hanged the call without knowing who answered the phone. Few seconds later, Maria walked in she was the nurse taking care of Dennis.

“ Maria!”

Abigail called in surprised as Maria was viewing every part of the room.

“ Abigail... Err... Madam Abigail.”

She answered composing herself.

“ Why have you come?”

Abigail asked wondering why Maria have come.

“ Err... I was the one who answered the phone downstairs so, you needed my assistance.”

She answered looking around as she saw the clothes,shoes and make up kit arranged on the bed.

“No! Yeah, I was asking for your assistance earlier, but then you were busy, don't worry I'm fine now. I was calling Mrs Alicia.”

“ Ohh! Alright, I guess I should leave then, Mrs Alicia is talking with sir outside.” Answered Maria.

“ That is great, please extend my greetings to your mother.”

Abigail said as Maria closed the door after giving a smile.

“ gosh! Mrs Alicia! Why do you have to do this now?”

She said as she ran into the bathroom to freshen up.

“ Madam, I heard you were calling me.”

Mrs Alicia said as she quickly walked in seeing Abigail applying the lotion on her body.

“ Yes i was.”

She answered in haste.

“ Hope there isn't any problem? Actually I was talking to sir as he is going to the family house, so I didn't hear the phone ring.”

“ it's okay, since he is going to the family house, everything is perfect then. I need you to check this dress is it perfect for a presentation night?”

Asked Abigail as she applied make up on her face.

“ Yes Madam! This is very nice! If i may ask why is everyone such in a hurry to leave tonight?”

Asked Mrs Alicia as Abigail smiled at her instead.

“ Have there being a case of a haunted house around here before?” She asked as she already got dressed.

“ No madam!”

Answered Mrs Alicia Innocently.

“ I will be right back to stay here with you, just don't disclose anything to anyone.”

“ Yes”

She answered as she quickly took her leave. She boarded a cab instead of driving she got to the office earlier than supposed but before that, she had sent a message to Dennis telling him she had caught some fevers and will need some rest once the message sent, she switched off her location and smiled to herself.

“Ohh madam you are here welcome please come in quickly.”

Martin said leading her through the hallway.

“Wow!”

Abigail exclaimed of a fact this is her husband's company but she has never been there.

“ This place is beautiful!” She said with a smile.

“Hehe it was builts with lots of dollars ma'am. Actually, this is the presentation room here, everything is decided, you will have to talk to the nobles here about our product and if they see it as good, then the whole public will be aware of it.”

Martin explained looking at Mrs Abigail closely.

“Are you with me ma'am?”

“Yes sure! I am right here.”

She answered looking at a painting which was covered with a curtain but not properly covered.
