C13 The police has found a dead body

It was Mia.

After entering in the office Mia saw the condition of the office and asked both of them, “What is going on? Were you both arguing on something Hmm?”

Abhay said in a low voice “No, no we were just talking…..” Before Abhay could finish, Alex interrupted him.

“Why are you saying no Abhay? Won’t you like to give good news to Mia? Maybe it can be your marriage gift to her. After all she got what she wanted to have.” Alex taunted Abhay.

“What is he talking about Abhay? What is going on? What is wrong with you guys?” Mia was puzzled with Alex behavior.

Of course anyone would be puzzled if they see changes in a person behavior suddenly, especially if we are talking about Alex.

Alex is a simple man. He wakes up in morning eat, work, sleep and repeat.

Alex words were still ringing in Abhay’s head. He still couldn’t come to believe that he lost Emily, his Emily.

Abhay was lost in his thought when Mia was asking him questions.

Mia took his arm and shook him. Abhay came out of his thoughts and said in a trembling voice, “Yes, we are not able to find Emily and the team thinks that she is dead. No one knows where she is?”

“What” the bitch shouted. I mean Mia shouted.

Bitch I know you are jumping from inside. PLEASE DO NOT PRETEND TO BE SHOCKED.

“How is that possible Abhay? Where is that man who took her? Where did he took her? What did he do to her” Mia asked Abhay with tears in her eyes.

‘I still could not forget about that man. He was so handsome. And how can she be dead when he took her away with him. Did she cause trouble for him and he killed her?’ Mia said to herself in her mind.

“We don’t know anything about that man? Where did he come from and where did he go. We don’t know anything.” Abhay replied to her.

“Wait, if you don’t know that means she can still be alive, right?” Mia asked Abhay. The joy she was having few minutes ago started to disappear.

“We don’t think so, yesterday I got an information. The police has found a dead body. It was floating near the river side and its face” Abhay took a deep breathe, “The face of the person is destroyed so no one can recognize the person and as per the police saying it perfectly describe Emily.” Abhay told all the information to Mia about Emily.

“No, no it can’t be. She can’t be dead. Abhay I know my sister is alive. Please don’t say that she is dead.” Mia hugged Abhay and started to sob in his arms. Abhay started to rub her back and cares her head like he is taking care of a child.

Idiot Abhay, see how she is smiling evilly in your arms.

A cruel smiled appeared in her face.

Alex who was standing aside saw them hugging each other. He felt disgusted. He has thoughts running in his mind, ‘How shameless can they be? How can I be best friend of this shameless person? Why couldn’t I see this coming, if I had I could have save my sister. They are the reason she is dead and they are embracing each other.’
