C6 Chapter 6

~Richard's POV~

It was already late so I decided to check up on Lacey.

I came out of my room, I was almost at Lacey's door when I started hearing funny sounds so I followed the sound to the sitting room.

Getting to the sitting room I spotted the witch on my couch watching something stupid.

"What the fuck"I yelled and she jerked in fear.

"Don't do that ever again"she said standing up.

"What the! Get out of my sitting room this instant"I yelled.

"Why?"she asked.

"Because, I'm the boss and I say so"

"No I wont"

"Yes you will"

"Okay fine, I'll just get my things and leave your house" she said.

"I hate you"

"Awwn, I hate you more Archibald"she drawled and I gasped in surprise.

"I'm your boss, fool you don't get to call me by my name"I said and she laughed.

"You boss"she scoffed.

"I'm the boss here"she said

"Your crazy"

"Oh, you just realised that"she laughed.

"I hate you, your a witch"

"Awwn"she laughed.

I walked to her with so much anger in me, I felt like strangling her to death.

I picked the TV remote and switched the TV off.

"You!"she gasped glaring angrily at me.

"This is my house"

"Okay I'll tell Lacey you denied me of watching the TV"she said and I grew weak.

"If you dare"

"Try me"

"Aghhhh"I've never met someone so annoying. I groaned walking towards the stairs.

~Laura's POV~

"Laura wake up you have to go to school"mom's voice kept disturbing my beauty rest.

"Oh mum just five minutes more"I said, my eyes still closed.

"Laura your going to be late to school on your first day in Royal Academy"mom said instantly making me jerk.

"Oh mum, why didn't you wake me earlier"

"I've been waking you up for the, past ten minutes"she replied softly.

"Okay! Okay forget that good morning mom, I'll be going to the bathroom now" I rushed my words as I stood from the bed.

I'm so happy today, I'll get to go to my dream school.

I've always wanted to go to Royal Academy but Ashley never had the money for it, even when dad offered to pay the fee she rejected it.

I don't know why she's so oblivious to the fact that mom and dad has changed.

And today mom will be inviting dad over for dinner, can't wait to see him.

Once I was done with my bath, I quickly rushed out of the bathroom to my room.

Mom did a great job renovating my room, it looks so beautiful just my age and taste, I smiled.

I applied the body lotion to my body and picked up my undies.

Wearing them one after one.

I faced the mirror clad in my uniform, it looks so royal.

I let my blonde hair fall to my back then used a black hair band on my hair.

I wore my diamond earrings and my wrist watch and some bangles my black socks and black shoe.

With my school bag strapped around my back I walked into the black range rover that waited for me. mom was already seated in the back sit as she waited eagerly for me to walk in.

~Ashley's POV~

"Nanny you'll take me to school right?"Lacey asked as I helped me with my shoes.

"If you want me to" I answered smiling

"Then you'll coming with me"shesmiled

"Okay lets go down for breakfast"

Breakfast was yummy but really silent cause I and Mr Archibald didn't have a fight, because Mr Archibald didn't have breakfast with us.

After breakfast, I and Lacey sat in the car listening to the music that was playing.

"Whats the name of your school?"I asked.

"Royal Academy" she replied and instantly I felt cold .

"Is anything the matter Nanny"

"No no"I smiled.

Royal Academy, Laura always wanted to go to that school she was and is still so much in love with the school.

I just hope she can be able to bring our parents together, I really miss mom and dad.

And seeing the way Mr Archibald loves his daughter makes me yearn for my parents love.

I really haven't asked Lacey about her mom. I wonder where she is

"Lacey, I haven't heard about your mom since my arrival"I said.

"Oh, that's because she's dead and daddy doesn't like talking about her"she said in a very low tone

I instantly felt bad, I should never had asked her that. "I'm sorry about that"

"Its not your fault nanny"

Soon we were inside a huge compound with big building, cars where pulling in and students were getting off.

I hugged her so thight before helping her down the car.

Just as I waved at her and watched her get into the main school building, I spotted mom and Laura sharing a hug

Laura was clad in the school uniform, she looked so cute.

Mom and daughter hugging, oh how I wanted to join the hug.

I miss my family, it took his grace for me not to run towards them and pull them into a warm embrace.

Laura looks so happy.

The drive home was good.

Immediately the car got to a halt I walked into the house.

"Hey you"Mr Archibald called.

I'm really not in the mode to talk so he should just back off.

"What's the matter?"I asked trying to hold my anger in.

"I've told you several times don't speak.."

"Am not in the mode" I cut him off shortly, I didn't have The strength for his blabbing and bluffing.

Feeling so sad,I walked up to my room.

~Richard's POV~

Did she just ignore me? And what's the long face for?

"Ashley"I called following her up her room.

"Ashley"I called again but she shut the door so I started banging on the door.

The clicking on the door got me aware that she was opening it.

"Did your parents teach you any manners?" I yelled immediately she opened the door.

"You have no right to involve my parents in my personal issue"she retorted.

"I had something to say to you and you walked out on me?"I questioned.

"And that still doesn't give you any right to speak to me in such manner, you might be rich and whatever but you should also accord me some respect"

I noticed her face was all red. She was crying, I could see the tears form in her eyes.

~Laura's POV~

"How was school?"mom asked as walked Into the house tiredly.

"It was amazing, I love the environment, and the students are also nice"I smiled.

"Okay but why did you come late?"

"Well I love, extracurricular classes,so I was signing up for them"

"Oh"mom mouthed sadly.

"Its okay mom, you will eventually get to know more about me"I said smiling.

"Okay, hurry go and freshen up I have something for you"

"What's it?"I asked curiously.

"Its a surprise"

"Please, mom"

"Okay fine"she sighed, grabbing the boxes on her bed

"Here take them"she said stretching two boxes to me.

"What are these"?i askedputting them,on the bed so I would be able to open them

"Open it"her face was full of smiles.

"Mom! It's an iPhone 12 pro max"I screamed the moment I opened it.

"Yes"I could tell she was so excited, this is the first time in a long time I'll be accepting a gift from her.

"I love you mom!"I screamed opening the second one, it was a small box, I opened it and met the most prettiest neck pendant, it had my name on it.

"Mom! I love it and I love you so much thank you"

"Mom where's Ashley's,"I asked.

"Its here"she pointed.

"I hope she'll come join us soon"I said sadly.

"Me too" mom echoed.
