C3 Three

"She's a building designer. Don't worry, I'll take care of her," said Jason, Vian's assistant.

Vian stared at the screen where Karin's photo was clearly displayed.

"No need, I'll do it myself."

"But ...."

"This is my revenge. I will handle it myself."

***

Karin was busy designing macket in her office when Edwin walked in.

"Nice job. You did well," the man praised.

"It's better if we don't meet alone like now. I don't want Anna to be angry with me again," said Karin who continued to look at the mockup in front of her. She didn't even look at Edwin.

"Karin, I really like you," Edwin said as he grabbed Karin's hand.

"Edwin, I told you I only consider you a friend. A very good friend. I don't want to ruin our friendship with any more feelings than that."

The noise outside stopped their conversation. The two of them then rushed out. Karin's eyes widened when she saw the figure who came to her workplace.

***

Vian smiled and waved at several people in the office. Several female employees approached and asked for a photo. There are also employees who ask for autographs from him for their relatives. Vian kept smiling and complied with their request. Even so, he still stepped closer to Karin and Edwin.

"Why is he here? Does he intend to cause trouble with me?" Karin muttered.

Edwin turned to hear Karin's voice.

"What's wrong? Are you having a problem with him? Do you know him?"

Karim just shook his head. Soon Vian was standing before her and Edwin

"So this is where the building designers work? It's amazing. I happened to want to build something and my friend suggested this place," said that man.

"Well, we will definitely do our best to satisfy your request," said Edwin.

Vian smiled and turned to Karin.

"Is she the designer here? In that case, I want her to do it," he said, staring intently at Karin.

Karin looked back at Vian then shook her head.

"I can't do it. I'm very busy. I have a lot of projects to work on."

"Too bad, I'm going to pay a lot for this project."

***

"Karin, this is a rare opportunity. Even though it's not a big project, he is willing to pay a high price, even higher than usual. We have to accept this," said Edwin excitedly.

Right now he and Karin were in Edwin's office. Meanwhile, Vian waited outside. The employees and staff seemed to greet and talk to him.

"We do have to accept, but I don't have to handle this project."

"He only wants you. If you don't, then he will cancel and find another place. That's what he said at our meeting earlier."

"I still can't."

"Why? Are you having a problem with him? You two seem to know each other already."

Karin sighed and shook her head. Now Edwin was even suspicious. If it was like this, Edwin would probably know about the problem she had with Vian. Karin didn't want that to happen. She didn't want his name to be bad in front of the people she knew.

"Okay," Karin said finally.

"But I want to talk to him alone first."

***

"You seem fine after what happened that day," said Vian after entering Edwin's office. Edwin himself left the room.

"What do you really want?" Karin asked, crossing her arms. Vian stepped closer and looked up at Karin's face.

"What else? You have ruined my career, of course I want to repay you."

Karin immediately pushed Vian's hand away. However, Vian grabbed Karin's hand and pulled the girl closer, so now Karin was right in front of her. Their bodies even touched each other.

Karin suddenly pushed Vian away.

"If you want revenge, you don't have to worry. I'll pay for it later. You don't have to do this."

Vivian drew closer. This time his arm wrapped around Karin's waist. Then he pulled her closer again. Karin's eyes widened. She immediately struggled to free herself from Vian's arms.

"This revenge is mine. I'm the one who feels the consequences of your actions that day, then...."

Vivian paused for a moment. His hand reached out and gently caressed Karin's cheek. Even though she shuddered, Karin could only stay silent without being able to dodge.

"This grudge has to be done my way."

"Okay, it's up to you. Now let me go!" Karin said angrily. Vian laughed.

"If I don't want to, what will you do?"

"You!" Karin growled with increasingly unbearable emotions. She and Vian looked at each other. The sound of the door opening made them both turn their heads. Vian immediately let go of Karin's embrace. A smile appeared on his face.

"Okay, I understand now. Thank you for the explanation," said Vian then rushed out.

Edwin who had opened the door was still stunned after a while. It then immediately approached

"Karin, what happened? Is he being rude to you? Karin, if he's all sorts, I'll give him a lesson and cancel our project with him."

"No need," Karin shook her head.

"Anyway, nothing happened. He's right, I just gave him an explanation."

***

Edwin poured the drink into a glass from the bottle in front of him and until drank. The shadow of Karin in Vian's arms was still clearly in his mind.

He was sure Karin and Vian had known each other. Karin had lied to him, even though he thought the girl was always honest.

‘They hugged. Their relationship is definitely more than a regular acquaintance. They may be a pair of lovers. I'm a fool. It's only fitting that Karin doesn't accept my feelings, it turns out she's Vian's secret lover.'

"Being here alone, doesn't it feel lonely?" scolded Anna who was sitting next to Edwin. Edwin just smiled and went back to drinking his drink.

Anna then also ordered drinks from the bartender in front of her. She then opened her cell phone and showed Edwin something. It was a photo of Vian who had an accident with Karin a few days earlier.

"The girl in this photo is really shameless, doing that kind of thing in the open, but don't you think this girl looks like Karin?" She said.

Edwin glanced at the photo and shook his head.

"Karin is a good girl, she can't possibly do that."

Edwin then walked away with a staggering step. Anna immediately followed and grabbed his hand.

"You already know. You know that's why you're drunk here. You know the unusual relationship from them. You also know the reason Vian came to our office was to see Karin."

Edwin immediately shook the girl's hand.

"That's not true," he said.

"That's right, it's just that you don't want to admit it," Anna said.
