C5 The game

I lay on the ground wailing in pain and agony, not because I was shot, but because they have taken Ashley away and killed our driver,

This part of the road was lonely and nobody could come to our rescue, I tried to stand up but heck! The pains in my hand are fucking painful that I felt like passing out

I was still struggling when two SUV'S pulled up before me, I made to run but the Nicklaus and Rex came out of it and rush towards, with guards behind them

"Fuck!" Nicklaus and Rex hissed as they both approach me

"What happened to Ashley?" Nicklaus asks looking at me expectantly,

How do I tell him that some unknown people took her

"Please Nelly speak I'm fucking going insane!!!" He screamed and that scared that he'll out of me,

''Fuck Nick, you need to take it easy with her" Rex said and came to my side as he hugged me to himself, I could sense the anger emitting from him, but he's fighting everything in him to keep it in.

"What happened?" Rex asks calmly,

"They….they…..they….took Ashley away…" I cried, tears dripping down my eyes as my body shook in shock at what happened

"Fine come let's go home, we'll talk more and you need to get yourself treated"

I couldn't say anything as he scoop me in his arms and took me into the car, but the pains were too much for me to handle, I tried fighting it and being strong but I can't

"Are you okay?" Rex ask but I shook my head in denial,

"You will be fine" He caresses my hair slowly

"Fucking drive faster" He hissed at the driver.

My fears were…..

"Who are those people behind those masks?"

"What are they doing to Ashley right now?"

I don't know but the more, I think about it the more the pains in my hand increase and I can't take it anymore

"I want to sleep…." I muttered slowly

"Fuck baby you need to keep your eyes open, you can sleep now" Rex groaned cupping his cheeks

"But I want to…"

"Please baby, do this for me" He pleaded, I sighed and nodded my head which was relaxed back on the car seat.

I was sweating all over though the air conditioning was on, I was in pain and sweating.

It didn't take long before we arrived at Nicklaus's mansion, Rex carried me out of the car into the house, the doctor was already there, which is Bianca

"Ohhh….my God honey what happened?" She cried as she rushed toward us

Rex dropped me on the couch and look at Bianca

"She needs medical attention, not question" He growls…

"Alright I'm on it immediately," Bianca said running around d to get things ready while I growl in pain,

Rex sat beside me, saying soothing words into my ear,

Bianca came with her medical equipment and set to work immediately, while I sighted Nivklsus giving orders to his guards,

Sometimes I wonder why he has so many guards

A striking pain pulled me out of my thought

"Ahhh…….!!" I screamed in pain and made to pull away,

"Many you need to stay calm so the bullet could be removed," Rex said looking serious, this one of the days he's serious with me

"No….no…its painful," I said shaking my head

"Fuck" He hissed and captured my lips immediately, the kiss was slow, sweet, and intoxicating that I found myself wanting more

"Done….." I heard Bianca's voice, Rex break the kiss smirking,

I look at my hand to see the bullet is already out, I was shocked…..suddenly a wave of dizziness slammed me

"I want to sleep……" I muttered slowly

"Rex, we need blood she's lost a lot already" Bianca's voice panicked

"I'm a universal donor you can take blood" I heard Rex said, my eyes has started closing already, I'm tired and needed rest

"Alright we need to start the transmission, else it'd be dangerous for her

"Rex fucking carry her she's already dizzy" I heard Nicklaus's authoritative voice, I opened my eyes slowly to see him looking at me with worried eyes

Rex carried me in his arms and took me to one of the rooms

He laid me on the bed and supported my head with a pillow, and then he laid beside me. I watched as Bianca fixed the equipment needed for the transmission. And she injected something into my body, making me wince in pain

"Sorry baby…." Rex cooled me, I watch Bianca inject Rex too but he didn't even wince,

"The blood transfusion starts now, you can sleep sweetheart if you want to know…" She said referring to me

"Thanks…" I muttered slowly

"I'm sorry this has to happen to you" Rex muttered

"I'm worried about Ashley, what are they doing to my bestie…."

"Don't worry….we will get her back" Rex assured

"You promise…" I whispered slowly

"Promise….." He whispered back,

"Thank you" I muttered slowly, and smiled faintly before I drifted into sleep.

I woke up as the bright morning air cools my skin, I look around to see the cotton was opened, I look beside me to see Rex is gone and the equipment are disconnected already, my arm was bandaged, and I felt a lot better

I must have slept for a very long time.

I stood up and walk into the bathroom, I did some morning routine with only one hand, I had a quick shower and came out in a towel, luckily there's a wardrobe filled with ladies' stuff,

I picked a dress and walked to the bed as I sat down and tried to put it on. I finally succeeded in putting it on but the zipper was giving me a headache,

I was still battling with the zipper when I felt a hand, on my shoulder, the next minutes the zipper was closed

I couldn't turn due to his close proximity, I already know who it was

Just by his lemon intoxicating scent, I know it Rex

He placed a kiss on my bare shoulder and whispered into my ears

"How are you feeling today?"

"Better" I muttered turning around to look at him, he walk me to the bed and help me sit down, then I noticed a tray of food in his hands

"Time to eat" He smile and sat beside me, with the tray of food laying perfectly on his lap, he fed me till I was filled

"Good girl" He kissed my lips making me giggle in happiness

The good clicked open and Nicklaus came in with Bianca, and one other tall guy, he's cute but not like my Rex

"How are you feeling honey?"

"Better" I smiled at Bianca

I watch as Nicklaus walks towards me with his hands tucked in his pocket, I can see eye bags below his eye, I know he's going through pain, and same with me, I worried so much that I dreamt of my best friend, she's my sister and more...

"How are you feeling"

"Fine…" I muttered

"I'm sorry for yelling at you yesterday, I was just upset, and worried"

"It's fine, I understand" I smile a little

"Sweetheart?" Rex called

"Yes…."

''You have to tell us, everything that happened, we need to get Ashley back"

"But we need to call the police, they are the only ones that could help," I said looking around for my phone

"No….baby" Rex snatched the phone from me

"We are not involving the police, Nelly"

"But my best friend's life is at stake here"

"That's why you need to tell us what happened" Rex muttered holding my hands

"Off curse, I will"

I calmed my nerves and began telling them how the car doubled crossed ours, shot the driver, and the rest of the story…………

I finished my story and look at all of them looking at me

"That's how it happened"

"Those bastards " Rex looked at Nicklaus and muttered

"It's him…."

"That mother fucker just started a fight he won't finish'' Nicklaus spoke, massaging his fist

"Let the game begin" Rex smirked and kissed my forehead, I watch him walk out with Nicklaus,

"Bianca, what are they talking about?"

"I don't know?" She shrugged but for some reasons I felt like she knows something.
